Hotel Sagano - Adults Only

It says adult only because it’s a motel

The room is big and you will have plenty of space. Breakfast is included (which was different kinds of bread, you already have tea in the room). It is pretty far away from everything but they offered to pick us up which was nice. Also the lady at the front desk was very nice. If you want to save up money it’s not a bad place for maybe one night or two. When we arrived they gave us the wrong room. We noticed when we entered the room and there was other people luggage in there. Since rooms don’t have keys, and they open the room for you, it could have been bad if there was people inside and we wanted to exit immediately. We called to the reception and they gave us a new room. Also the mattress was a little bit hard.

Staff was great and helpful, transfer from and to the nearby station was a great help. The place felt dirty, the theme of the hotel was so weird and had a creepy feeling during all the stay. Rooms were big, but being locked in felt uncomfortable, it’s an old hotel, cheap yes, but if you can, find another place to stay, as this was quite uncomfortable, and also location was far from certain things.

Also the room was Large and comfortable. We read the previous reviews so knew what to expect. So there were no surprises. It is for Adults only.

Very considerate staff, it was great they would take you to and from the train station. The breakfast sandwich was yummy. Very large rooms for Japan. Dirty room with large mystery stains, I understand it’s a love hotel but I covered up some parts of the non changeable bed with a tissue to avoid touching because the stains were severe.

Really nice and spacious room, a variety of cosmetics, very clean, sandwiches served daily to the room - would recommend!

The staff was wonderful. They took us to whetever we needed ti go. They brought us a sandwich in the morning . Very kind people I wasnt preparedfor our hotel room to be automatically locked everytime we entered or exited our room we had to call the front desk to be let in or out. I guess because its an adult hotel thesr are the rules .

Exceptional friendly staff. I forgot my tablet and they picked us up from the train station and gave it to us. Transfer is for free, so slightly off location is no issue. People should understand that it is a love hotel and therefore the system slightly different (no key but reception opens/closes on request) We had a really nice stay and enjoyed our time Nothing - exactly as expected

The staff is very helpful and if you ask them, they happily take you to the nearest JR station. The room is spacious and well equipped. The nearest bus stop and the Randen line is within 10 minutes of walk. Well... I'm not gonna lie, I did not know what it meant that this hotel is "Adult only". Turned out there are accommodations in Japan called "love hotels". I think you guessed why they called that. You won't get a key or card for your room. You have to call the reception to let you out. Originally these hotels are for a 2-3 hours short "sleep". The room was not super clean, which bothered me a bit, considering what it could have seen before we arrived there. Maybe the plus side is that in the TV there is a lot of free porn, you can rent naughty costumes and even buy "adult toys".

The only thing we didnt like at the begining was the fact we couldnt open the door our self. You get used too it after the first try and we thought it was very funny in the end. The AC in our room did not work super well but everything else was perfect. Nice staff but dont speak english, as long as yoy have a translate app on your phone, you are good

The staff was very helpfull and nice. Just room need more cleaning. Mouldy fridge and lot of shortcuts in cleaning.

Bars on every window, locked in our room, communication via a hatch in door. In the event of no power or an earthquake this is your coffin. Appalling, illegal and totally unacceptable. We got out within 12 hours, Booking.com have been very poor at responding to our complaints. This is awful. Have used B.com for years and this has let everyone down and their inability to respond within 80 hours is disgusting. This is a prison cell. DO NOT STAY OR GO HERE. Dirty too but that was the least of our complaints.

The owner pick and drop to the near station room was quite old

The hotel was old but clean and spacious. Value for money. Staff don’t speak English but we’re great. Being locked in to the room was a bit weird but there was no problem calling reception to get out. Not lock the room. Refurbish the old decor. Make sure the body cream is filled up.

The room and bathroom was huge. It was quite and great location. The room locking system. Your room was locked and unlocked by the front desk which I didn’t like as I like to leave early in the morning and felt awkward asking them to unlock my room.
