Ι liked the style ! I liked the huge king size bed! Very comfortable! And the location is amazing 13 min walk to the station! No issues .

The hotel and onsen were wonderful. We really enjoyed our stay. The staff was super friendly. The rooms were well appointed. My only complaint was there was little room for our luggage and the rooms were dark.

it was a 8 minute walk from the next train station, middle of the city, close to shopping areas and parks as well, food was good after lunch and dinner breakfast wasnt the best, table and sitting areas were very low

Hotel was about a 12 min walk from the station. There was only one washing machine that worked and it was always being used, we ended up walking 3 mins down the block to a laundromat instead. Closest convenience store is about 8 mins walk from hotel. Pillows are quite firm and there is not really a place to hang your towel after using.

Location is good, nice quiet neighbourhood. Facilities were great, very nice experience. Staff was exceptional. More traditional feel than other hotels we stayed in. Size of room was compact (from North American standards). All properties I stayed at in Japan were similar, just not what we’re used to. This location is a little bit out of the way, so a bit of a walk to the train station and downtown areas. It was still walkable but not ‘right in the action’.

Location was nice, accessible to main train station and some bus/metro, but not in the chaos of the center tourist area. Room was a bit small

It had a very intentional Zen atmosphere It was a little far from Kyoto Station, and the restaurants were a bit spread out.

Generally very nice. Very clean, calm atmosphere, easy to navigate the hotel. Blackout curtains in the room are excellent, easy to control the AC, good sound deadening, nice high-pressure water in bathroom, comfortable beds. Reasonable, although not short, walk from the Kyoto train station. Good restaurants nearby. Hotel restaurant food was unimpressive, hotel bar is QR code ordering which is annoying if you didn't bring your phone (as in, if you came from the basement baths). Staff didn't want to use the espresso machine in the morning for coffee (even after making it clear we'd pay for a cappucino), only wanted to use the drip carafes sitting on the bar buffet. Room had a nice large bed, but very little useable floor space off it and minimal storage: if you have a couple large bags there's nowhere to step around them.

The location was the best, close to the train station, and also the provided, free activities were great! The room size, and dealing with two twin beds.

Elegant spaces, generous, delicious and reasonable breakfast plus other amenities like happy hour and free coffee and teas much of the day.

The staff was amazing! Breakfast was wonderful. Shower curtains were see through, water closet was very small, entry light turned on in middle of the night when you went to the bathroom.

Fantastic value in a great location. Whole hotel is beautifully designed. Room was small, not much space for large luggage bags. But the bed was huge and very comfortable. All the amenities, decor and service are at the level of a much more expensive hotel. The “free lounge” service is fantastic. Free tea and coffee in the comfy restaurant area where we could use our laptops or even play card games :) Food is great, too. A little awkward finding a way to have our large luggage bags open in the room.

We loved how quiet and cozy it felt at the hotel which had everything we needed for our stay. The pillows could have had better quality.
