KIORI Hotel Higashino Toin

We love everything about this hotel and have booked to go back again later this year. It is clean, has everything you need and the staff are amazing. The rooms are a good size, the beds are incredibly comfortable and the toiletries they provide are exceptional. The location is perfect. Close to everything yet quietly tucked away. KIORI was one of our favorite stays during our 3-week trip to Japan. For an incredible value, this new hotel was spacious, in a perfect location and sparkling clean. We would highly recommend and will absolutely be staying there next time we're in Kyoto.

Laundry machines were a bit slow and didn't dry very well. It would be nice to have streaming apps in the room tv.

How it looked and felt and a nice big room! The staff was a little unfriendly - they could have been warmer - a better breakfast would have been nice too

We had an issue with the staff working the night/late shift. We asked him a question and he grunted and ignored us before saying “I don’t know.” We were left extremely confused. He did not speak English or Japanese and we could not properly communicate with him.

Very nice hotel, comfortable, clean, super friendly staff and great location. No remarks about negative things - maybe just adding a few more options for the breakfast.

The property was nice and clean. Not a huge hotel but very well put together. The rooms were a lot bigger than other hotels in Japan, very spacious. Pricing per day was very much with in budget and worth the money. I can say this about 99 percent of the Hotels in Japan, but I wish they had a gym, at least a small gym.

Hotel is conveniently located in a quiet and cozy neighborhood. It is a very clean facility with excellent friendly and helpful staff. Just perfect. Thank you !

Location was close to trains. The room was modern and clean. The bathroom was really nice. The complimentary breakfast could have a bit more options.

Very clean and comfortable. Large room. Close to lots of restaurants and walking distance to great areas. We were charged ¥1000 for a lost key (the plastic card kind!), which we think is a lot. We found the key in a jacket pocket the following day ?

This is a very new and clean hotel. The room was sufficiently spacious for two people, and the shower had excellent water pressure. There is also a lovely lounge where guests can enjoy free coffee or tea. The staff were friendly and spoke good English. The walk from the main tourist area takes about 12 minutes. The bed was quite narrow, and the hotel does not offer a particularly nice view.

Location was great! They had a sitting area where we could sit and have a drink (all brought in by us) Clean hotel. Washer /dryer- need a couple more since it takes about 4 hours for the process Staff was amazing and really helpful. Hotel a bit pricey but I think that is Kyoto in general. I would recommend hotel Bit pricey No English tv
