KYOTO PLEASANT HOTEL

I like that they are very welcoming as well as it is very clean. It is also cheap but exceptionally good. Maybe the bread, I woke up late in the morning so theres no more bread in breakfast anymore

The room is huge, especially the TELEVISION! My friends and I stayed there for a night but we enjoyed the game room, we were able to enjoy the television, the complimentary bread in the morning was SUPERB! The coffee is sooo good! The Photo Booth was also cute! Plus the staff are very friendly esp the foreigner! She’s very accommodating and patient. I think the cup in the room. I’d likely suggest you guys replace it with real cup also if 3/4 people are going to stay there at least add cup and slippers depending on how many people are staying.

Great hotel up in Nishijin quarter, with a quirky video-game and manga look, should you choose it. Far away from the bustle of downtown Kyoto, but near enough bus and metro lines. Quiet and super comfortable rooms, especially the beds. Excellent service by the staff, especially regarding extra pillows and other doubts. Very helpful. Convenience stores and a supermarket just beside the hotel are also a big plus. And better prices than further downtown, makes for excellent value. And perhaps three blocks away from the imperial gardens, so plenty to see around it, too. Highly recommended.

This hotel exceeded my expectations. The rooms were not as small as expected ( its Japan people) the facicities were great, you have a great games room and access to some free drinks at night. The breakfast was always sold out in the morning but you are next to 2 shops outside. The location for me was good even if the bus home at night was totally full. The receptionist working in the morning was not helpful but the one at night was so we asked her all the questions we needed to.He didnt want to help us with the luggage forwarding, all the other hotels we visited did it for us except this one.

Central location. Staff is helpful. Game room is a bonus for families and groups. Beds are a little close to the walls.

Staff was not at the reception often and you need to leave the keys there. Staff doesn’t look really experienced

The hotel is situated in a very good location that is easily reachable by public transportation and/or walking. The staff are helpful and courteous, informal, and very effective. I had a complaint about noisy neighbours, and it was sorted out immediately and professionally. There are two grocery stores right behind the corner. The hotel has fairly strict rules regarding security, which, in my view, is a plus.

The hotel has a gaming center, manga corner/reading area, a ramen machine, a self-service kitchen and there is a supermarket on the first floor to the right of the hotel. The staff was INCREDIBLY helpful when the city of Kyoto impounded the bike I had rented from the hotel, they helped me navigate everything.

Excellent staff! Cool and laid back vibes in the lobby. Lots of free supplies, coffee, lotion, etc. available. The rooms are spacious, modern, and very comfortable. Large enough to hang out after a long day of exploring. No fault of the hotel but the location is a little out of the way for walking to more interesting neighbourhoods. That said, the bus and train are close by, and the canal is a lovely calming walk to aforementioned areas.

The property was clean and the staff were helpful. The location was great - close to the bus and a short walk from the train. The room was large compared to other hotels we’ve stayed in Japan. The bathroom was tiny but it was suitable for two people.

Excellent staff! Great room! Great value! It’s a little out of the way for walking to things but there ARE two convenience stores downstairs

The hotel and the staff were fabulous. You don’t need a translating app us must have limited English. But they are super helpful.
