I love the interior and the ambience. It was so cozy and comfy, felt like I was home! The receptionist was so friendly and helpful, he even gave me some recommendations on what to eat around the area. The hostel is located inside a quiet neighborhood somewhere in the north of Kyoto (near Kinkaku-Ji, the famous golden temple). The facilities provided were so abundant for the price paid. The capsule/room was very comfortable for the night sleep as well, I slept like a cat throughout the entirety of my one-week stay. Note that I’m a light sleeper and usually hostels like this are not so ideal for a satisfying sleep. I’d say this hostel has to be the best one I’ve ever stayed so far. Highly recommended for long term stay as well. If you decide to stay in Kyoto as a solo traveler, I really couldn’t recommend this place enough. The only little downside might be that it’s a bit far away from the city center, some popular places like Gion, and the JR stations (Kyoto-Kawaramachi & Kyoto Station). You need to take the bus for roughly 30 minutes per trip to get to the places mentioned above. But overall, if you desire a good night’s rest after a whole day of walking around, come and stay here! Nothing, it’s nearly perfect.

I felt like the ambiant music, that I really like, was just a little too loud this time. It went from relaxing ba ground to slightly annoying. Very petty, maybe, but I needed to write something I didn’t like.

I was impressed by the facilities and how private the beds were in the dorm. Super comfortable stay, the owner was really nice and helpful. Free laundry and cheap drinks in the kitchen! 10/10 probably best stay in Japan! And it’s so nice to be outside of the busy area, there was still a lot to discover around.

The accommodation has a specific law in a clear specific, so everyone obeys the order, not noisy Wooden sleeping areas should be easy to make noise noóie.

Absolutely amazing hostel, if you get the chance, you have to stay here! So comfy and relaxing, the owner is amazing, great showers. Just everything! It is quite far from the centre, there are lots of buses, so it's fine, just don't expect Tokyo-level of transport links.

Location and the inn keeper is really helpful and nice. Rooms are not sound proof. The other guests are noisy and still doing laundry after quiet time.

Really nice and clean hostel and very quiet area. The women only toilets were fabulous. Everywhere was very clean and nice. I would recommend it more for solo travelers but not for groups as we were on the ground floor and had some problems with noise levels being high in the mornings. The area was pretty far outside Kyoto and a good 25min walk from the bus but they had scooters outside you could rent on LOOP which was nice. New towels everyday too which was lovely.

It is quite far away from Kyoto Station and it takes around 1 hour to reach the hostel with bus. But the design is great and there was a zen atmospheric meditation music. I met with other tourists and they were awesome. But if i went to Kyoto again i would definitely find a hostel near Kyoto Station. But it was a great experience and thanks for that the washing machine and dryer was free to use.

Beautiful and calming hostel. The larger capsules have room for bags and suitcases on the inside. Staff is very accommodating. Great option for solo travelers.
