If you want a hotel where has onsen, restaurant, massage chair and free drink every night, come to this hotel. I use the onsen room every night after walking so much in japan. Room are larger than average hotels I have been in japan, love everything except the water in bathroom alway have chlorine smell, otherwise is perfect.

A clean room in a convenient location (for my work) with a good breakfast buffet. Right next to Kujo subway station for easy transport around Kyoto.

Very nice accommodation and great breakfast. Public bath was nice amenity too. Would definitely come back on future trip.

The location!.. was steps distance from the train station entrance!!! It was great because it was raining last day of our stay. The breakfast was delicious! The application online did not allows us to include our sons, so only two adults per room, which it did not make sense because I booked a double room. So I booked it for two, the I have to pay at the check in my two teenagers and pay for their breakfast as well. It would be easy if the system allows it included them at the beginning.

My stay at Sakura Terrace exceeded all of my expectations. I would happily stay here again and in fact am already planning to do so. The location is fantastic. It’s about a 7-minute walk from Kyoto Station and literally right next to a subway station, making it super easy to get around the city. After long days of sightseeing, that convenience is hard to beat. I stayed in a corner room, which was very spacious. By Japanese standards it felt huge, but even compared to many Western hotel rooms, it was generously sized. The room was cozy, comfortable, it even had a sunset view! The amenities were excellent. The daily welcome drink was such a thoughtful touch, and having coffee and tea available throughout the day was something I really appreciated. The reading lounge with the massage chairs deserves a special mention. I loved it so much that I came home to Brazil and actually looked up the same massage chair online. Everyone I interacted with was warm, kind, and helpful. The staff at reception were wonderful, and the woman working at the bar in the evenings was especially friendly and welcoming. Sadly I forgot her name. The hospitality throughout the hotel was exceptional. Overall, Sakura Terrace was an outstanding hotel experience. Between the location, comfortable rooms, excellent amenities, and genuinely wonderful staff, it was one of the highlights of my time in Kyoto. Highly recommended. The only minor downside was the breakfast. While everything I tried was delicious (especially the miso soup), I found the selection a bit limited for the price. That said, I arrived about 20 minutes before the end of service, so it’s possible that some items had already run out.

I liked the Onsen and massage chairs in the library room. Staff had very little english. There was no coffee or tea in the morning for guests who didn't have breakfast in the package.

Incredible staff. Extremely friendly. The property is spotless. The amenities are very generous for the price. Awesome hotel!

Centric, relaxed and the amenities of drinks The cleaning of the room was not too often

The room was clean, there was an aircon which was useful, breakfast had a good selection. It was a nice surprise that we had a welcome drink each evening during our stay, and we could choose from a mix of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. The hotel also had a bath which we didn't have the time to try out, but gown, slippers and towels were provided. The underground station was right next to the hotel and there were various bus stops around as well, with the Kyoto main train station a 10-minute walk away.

Close to subway, helpful staff, clean rooms, music and complimentary drinks every night It would be better if there are a couple of power points for phone charging beside beds as well as laundry facilities

Location.. and especially appreciated the massage recliners..

Eveything about Sakura Terrace blew me away. The size of the room, the cleanliness, the public baths. It was all wonderful. I'm definitely coming back here, if not forever returning as my place to stay in Kyoto There wasn't much I didn't like in Sakura Terrace. If I need to point something out is that sometimes the interactions with the staff can be slightly difficult, but they always do their best to help the client, which is incredible.

The sauna, breakfast was fine, room had a decent amount of space, staff was good, location was fine but can’t complain Everything was good. No complaints
