The room is spacious for its size, bed is big and the design is ascetically pleasing. The shared bath is a great first experience for Japanese shared bathing culture, super clean and relaxing. Some of the dryers in the laundry room were a bit dirty which I guess is hard to deal with due to constant 24 hour usage by patrons, not the biggest issue by any stretch.

Great location , free laundry, nice lounge area with free coffee and tea, public bath area Nothing

- The service is efficient. - The hotel is quiet. - Close to Kyoto Station. - Requires you to remove your flip-flops to shower, increasing the risk of contracting a foot infection. - The showers are transparent, so you must not be shy. He asks you not to wear a swimsuit. - The public area (café) is underdeveloped and the selection is extremely limited. - A surprise tax awaits you upon arrival (commodity tax), as it was not included in the price.

The location is really great. Only 3-4 blocks away from the Kyoto Station. The neighborhood is quiet so it's relaxing. Considering that i didn't know this booking was shared bathroom, i really enjoyed my stay here. The shared bathroom was really nice and you still get a sink in your room so getting ready to go out was comfortable. The shared spa was really nice. This place is nothing fancy but has everything you need. Also the room might not have everything you need but you will be able to get it in the lobby by renting kettle, extra pillows, cups, etc The room is on the smaller side. I was travelling alone so it wasn't a big deal but for 2 people, it might feel crowded. Not the bed but place to put your luggage. The mattress is on the thinner side but still comfortable enough.

Private space and quiet room with a sink. Stand shower is spacious and clean . Housekeeper and janitor are very friendly. Front desk often ignores the customers when they right at the reception. Public bath is not that clean( onsen has hair and white stuff flowing around). Laundry room smells bad. Location is not close to any convenient stores and subway stations.

Absolutely Everything in this place is fantastic Nothing to dislike ! Sakura Terrace Atelier is Fantastic
-
Cozy lounge, clean facilities, public bath had a hot soaking tub, free coffee and other amenities Cramped room and stiff beds/pillows

Great location a 10 minute walk from Kyoto Station and a subway station, with restaurants and convenience stores in between. Walking distance to Teamlabs Biovortex. Spacious, comfortable lobby with a variety of teas and coffees, microwave, and toaster. Very compact but comfortable room with my own sink. No view but the window opened for fresh air. Shared bathroom and shower areas were very clean. There's a private shower available if you're shy about using the group bath. I stayed for a week and hated to leave! My one complaint was the laundry area; it was filthy and smelly, in contrast to the rest of the property. It was nasty enough that I'm deducting a star. Staff were ok, not super friendly.

Central location, super clean super new, modern showers and nice big Onsen for 4 people at a time. Nice amenities, nice staff, overall good experience. The rooms are super tiny, you have to use space very good to pack from your luggage. The room is practically only the bed and a sink to wash your face.
-
Excellent location, Onsen was a plus, clean facilities. Only having showers on the first level. I missed that in the description.

Loved the proximity to the station, the staff and room. The clothing was a bit small for my taller boyfriend and the bath water wasn't the cleanest (probably from guests not washing properly).
-
Close to train station shopping restaurants pretty much a 5 min walk to everything essential. Many attractions with in 20 min That i didn't stay longer

What’s not to love about this hotel? The public bath is simply divine, you can’t beat the proximity to the Kyoto station, and there is a subway entrance nearby that will connect you to many popular tourist destinations nearby. If you like coffee, you can hand grind your own beans and make pour over or French press, and the luggage forwarding device is super easy to use. Public bath allows tattoos, which is a huge win for me. Everything was perfect, I wouldn’t change a thing.

Thaks for service

The lobby/common area has such a great vibe and was a pleasure in which to hang out, especially given the tea and coffee bar. Having a sink in the room was wonderful, as was the large communal bath. Plus it’s in a great location. The place was definitely clean but there was a bit of a wet carpet kind of smell. Still, given all the other positive aspects, I wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again.

The furniture and interior was very traditional warm and welcoming. The public path was a great experience and was still convenient since we had a sink in our room. It’s super close to the subway, 5 min walk at most. Nice lounge area for us to relax and rest
-
The location was not too far from the public transport. There were two convenient stores on each way from the hotel. Small room, not adjustable air-con, uncomfortable and noisy beds, small toilet and shower, now window lookout and proper lighting, expensive compared to the room we got.
-
Staff was very friendly, they helped us with the paperwork for sending our luggage to Tokyo. Common area with free coffe and teas Room was very small

The dryers take forever. Should upgrade the laundry system.
