The location was excellent. The beds were very comfortable.
-
I loved that it was in a quiet street No facilities
-
Great location, on quiet side street, amenities provided (towels, soap etc) Since we like to cook meals in the unit, It would be nice to have a coffee maker, and basic food staples such as oil, rice, vinegar and perhaps sugar. Perhaps to add to level of convenience, a lounge chair or small sofa would make it even more confortable.

It is not that I didn’t like it, but I regret not booking one of the biggest rooms, because of our monstrously big backpacks
-
Breakfast was ok different everyday I didn’t like the basement with no view or light humidifiers and sounds of the plumbing but the room was clean and nice.
-
The sheets were small because I am tall some I was freezing some times jaja

Close to center im kind of big so maybe size?

Super cute hotel, very comfortable quite big for Japanese standards, comfortable beds and nice interior and very good location in a quiet area but very close to all temples and gion Maybe a Japanese thing but we couldn’t really enjoy the view since the window glass was not see through, the walls need a bit of a touch up but overall a very nice place to stay

Comfortable unit & good location. Basement unit - the wall could use a new coat of paint. A lot of scratches which made the unit seem old or not clean.

Location Nothing
-
Shower is bizarre and not easy to work with, drain was broken and struggled to work, no teapot with which to make the provided tea and finally, WHY ARE THE WINDOWS OPAQUE FROSTED GLASS INSTEAD OF JUST REGULAR WINDOWS SO I CAN SEE OUTSIDE
-
The room and the hotel facilities The process of cleaning (they do not clean everyday unless paid)

This was our favorite hotel we stayed in on our trip to Japan. It was very nice, clean, and quiet. I liked the Japanese style of the interior as well. The area it was in was perfect as well, close enough to walk to things but not right in the hustle and bustle. The staff were so kind and welcoming too, would absolutely stay here again when we come back to Kyoto. I also accidentally left one of my favorite jackets in the room and didn’t realize until we were too far away, I reached out and they so kindly agreed to send me my jacket to the United States. This was extremely nice of them and I am very appreciative. Thank you again for a wonderful stay!

Great location and services, comfortable bed and bathroom, as usual space is limited, no wardrobe to put clothes, just some hangers in the hallway. Great to have an electric water heater to make tea. Maybe you can provide glass/porcelana cups (not plastic)

Very good

Great little hotel, but noticing hotel rooms don’t have enough space to open standard size not oversized luggage. Beds were very comfortable and location was very good!

Exceptional
-
The room was comfy and very practical with lots of places to hang clothes and towels as well as benches to pop your bags at the end of the day. The location was fantastic especially if you're hiring bikes to ride to nishiki markets and many temples in the hills. There was no window in the room and because we stayed in winter the room got quite dry and stuffy with the heater on, but a bit too cold not to have it on.
-
was able to park the motorcycle right in front of the hotel. no extra costs floor material of toilet room. no proper cleaning possible
-
The room was a bit dusty. Which made it a little hard to breath, as I have bad allergies.
