Worth it. Place is well located, near Gojo station. Easy access. Place is clean, they offer self check-in and check-out. Also you can leave your luggage before/after your stay. There are plenty of manga you can read (sadly, all in Japanese -unless I missed the English ones-) They offer umbrellas during rainy days (although they can run out pretty fast (I think other guests take them to their rooms) Room can be a little small (depending of course on the kind of room you'd book). WiFi works amazing! We worked remotely so had no complains with it. I'd say room is small, but it's not a big deal. TV doesn't have access to any major apps (YouTube, Netflix, Prime, etc), so it can be boring, but hey, you're in holidays, right? Overall, great place to stay.

I really didn't like the bed and the pillows. The bed was very hard and felt like it was made out of hold clothes The pillows felt like they were filled with rice. Woke up every hour or two with sore spots on hips or shoulders, or both.

Location is great! Easy access to train station, restaurants, cafes and convenient stores. It feels cozy and comfortable. Nothing to mention

We found the hotel was conveniently located with easy access to the subway and buses. The staff was friendly and the facility was impeccably clean. The rooms were large enough to be comfortable and are all tatami. Since you can’t wear shoes in the room they provide slippers for everyone. We didn’t have any issues while staying at this hotel.

The room was great~ nice, firm bed, spacious and clean room. The location was good for proximity to Kyoto Station. Great luggage storage pre/post checkin. Good breakfast options. Check-in area is designed to be self-service/automated. The staff that shows up when « help » button is pushed is very helpful. This automation appears left-over from « no-contact » format during Covid. Unfortunately it feels very impersonal. Especially for 4-star hotel.

On the plus side the location was very close to the subway station and a couple of bus stations as well, so getting around was really easy. The breakfast wasn't so great, had greater expectations from how the advertised it.

The location is great, everything was clean and the people was so nice The fact that the window does not open makes the room really humid, even with the two machines installed to help reduce humidity does not help at all, you just get used to it. The toilet becomes really hot. And the breakfast is, no offense, is mediocre. We just went the first day, and we didn’t came back the days days after. Cus it’s really not worth it.

The room was clean and comfortable. Close to the subway station and bus stop makes it convenient for travel. Close to the attraction and Kyoto Station walking 10-15 min max. Overall I would say it’s worth the money. Easy and convenient check in and check out process. Property has cloths comprising machines customers can use for 300 yen which helps with organizing your luggage. They also offer the luggage transfer service with nominal charge. The only drawback would be traveling with suitcase cos the subway station doesn’t have elevator or escalators so you have to drag your bags.

Clean and good facilities. Comfortable and more spacious room. Staff barely present and many cannot speak much English. Breakfast expensive and average quality.
