The room was awesome, combining tradition with nice amenities. I love the way everything was arranged and the fact that everything was in place. Also, the staff could keep my luggage for some hours after check-out, that was very helpful and I appreciate it. Maybe the bed was not very comfortable, other than that everything was amazing.

Close to Kyoto station, very functional with personal washing machine, small kitchenette and decent bathroom. TV is vast and everything worked very well. It’s clearly an older building; a bit aged and dated, which makes it look a little uncared for - and could be mistaken for not clean.
