TUNE STAY Kyoto

Amazlng whole staff I have ever seen especially Maddy and Tomaya .They helped so much for my daughters dream .Yes we did it we were there.We will never forget you and whole staffs helping. The location near kyoto station walking max 5 minutes. decoration and concept of the hotel was so nice..At july priice was also so good.... I recommend two twins room it is larger And for our next stop as thelr advlce we stayed at 30 pieces Namba Osaka ( the same groul hotel ) that was also nice Nothing

The lack of strong lighting options. everything was dimly lit, it was hard to work in the rooms.

Staff was so kind, amenities/room were amazing, the hotel offered many free perks. Felt like staying in a modern artsy library, loved it.

Space is tiny but functional

I really liked the laundry and seating area on the same floor. It was really comfortable and relaxing. The location is really good, and there are plenty of good restaurants close by. Taking out the garbage is really simple, which is nice.

Everything was curated and thoughtful, beautiful interior and well laid out rooms The entrance is a little hard to spot, I almost went into the hotel beside it when I arrived

Staff charged us for 40minutes late checkout. Their website says its free up to 1 hours. Also staff came to our door asking when we will leave. It was very rude.

The front desk staff were very friendly, I appreciated that they could speak English well and they let me leave my bag there before check in. Single room was small but good for a short stay. Corridor and room was a bit dark

The location was very convenient, the movies time and the library were very nice for us to unwind after a busy day. The laundry could be better arranged so it is more confortable if there’s more than 2 people in there.

Very cool and modern hotel. The amenities are unique and awesome, like the movie nights and the library and the lounge area. The hotel staff spoke the best English I have ever heard in Japan. Nice location, not too far away from the train station if walking.

The room was quite small and lacked natural sunlight because the window faced an adjacent building. The indoor lighting was also dim, making the room rather dark.

It was great!! I love the ammenities and everything they provide you extra at no cost!! Maybe it would be amazing it had a bit more access to outside light, it felt a bit dark inside the room. The location even if it’s not that close to a metro station it still had very close bus stations so it was accesible and easy to move around

The reviews don’t do this place justice ! It’s such an adorable boutique-feeling hotel with random joys like the art gallery, movie night and daily happy hour. Rooms are compact but most will not spend a lot of time there anyway so a really great option for Kyoto. Would certainly stay again.

beautiful hotel with suoer nice amphitheatre lobby for short movie every night and great collection of books. Always stay here when i visit kyoto since corona time. hope the area of basement near trash area can be cleaner, now the floor area near trash is a bit dirty.

The staff were friendly and helpful. The water pipes knocked when the upstairs people used the shower and the room was too narrow to be comfortable.

The front desk staff was top tier. The movie night was a wonderful part of our stay every night. Easy to get to the train station for excursions in and out of town. We used the kitchen every day. It’s big enough for a number of guests to use at once. The coffee wasn’t to my liking.

The staff was super friendly, the lobby with it's library and short films as well as the kitchen and common area in the basement were nice! The hotel's location is also absolutely excellent, as it is very close to Kyoto station and a multitude of restaurants and bars. Very thin walls, so you could hear your neighbors really loudly. Unfortunately, that also was true for the elevator, which was audible even at night. The AC was squeaky when its vents moved and even when you turned it off, there was still quite substantial noise from the central AC system - said central system also keeps you from really controlling the AC, which sucks. The room was on the smaller side, but staying alone, it was ok. Breakfast is okayish in a pinch, but very limited (only a choice of some bagels) and not very good.
