Kyoto Tower Hotel Annex

Great location near Kyoto station (5minute walk from station to hotel). Friendly and polite staff (available 24/7). Nice breakfast variety. We recieved a coupon to Kyoto Tower at check-in. Shops, restaurants, bars and convenience stores were always a short walk away from hotel. Small smoking area but that's just a personal preference.

This hotel is very well located - very close to Kyoto station and bus terminal. The room was very clean. Would recommend staying here if you want to be centrally located in what is a very spaced out city Beds and pillows were uncomfortable but that appears to be a Japanese hotel issue!! Room was also a little small when there was two large suitcase and two daypacks in the room

Hotel is ideally located close to the train station Rooms are very small with room cleaning services only every third day.

Great location, close to the central station and shopping centres. There’s no bottles of water offer in the room, no hot/cold water or coffee offer in the lobby either. We had to buy bottle of water and coffee everyday in the local market.

Really enjoyed my stay here. I asked for a quiet room and they got it right. There was some construction going on, but it was barely noticeable. The staff were very warm and easy to talk to. There was an earthquake while I was there and, in hindsight, made for a funny anecdote (mostly me embarassing myself). The staff were completely calm and reassuring, which helped a lot. I also left my scarf when I checked out. They replied quickly, kept it safe, and helped arrange for it to be sent to my next hotel in Osaka. They kept me updated the whole time and made it easy. The hotel and the staff really emboded omotenashi. I’d definitely stay here again when I come back to Kyoto.

The lobby was very nice and the room was spacious. Overall, the hotel itself was great. It’s a good proximity from Kyoto station and a mall. The room was mostly clean, just the bathroom door was a bit dirty. It’s kind of far from some of the main tourist spots (you have to bus/subway for ~20mins).

Location, friendly staff, quick check in. Loved the special pillow selection. Cost is too high and does not reflect the facilities, no complimentary water, cramped space (but this is understandable), limited area for clothes

Room was clean and included a nice attached bathroom. Daily room service was nice. Windows didn't open and were opaque. You couldn't even look outside to see the weather. Worse yet was the terrible internet service. During waking hours it essentially was useless.

The room is small but the bathroom is extremely small.

Proximity to the Kyoto station, customer service . Walk from /to station Room size - Extremely extremely small. Cannot move around much nor ideal for travelers with reasonable size suitcases. Bathroom size was also not ideal. Had an aircraft feel but with a bathtub. Double Standard bed just enough for 1 person
