Great location across of Kyoto Station, from malls, shopping areas and major sites. The breakfast was delicious and varied. Luggage transfer was available. Room was a bit larger (than usual for Japan hotels) for our party of 3. Hotel was a bit older but still comfortable. Notice in lobby, dated 2025, said hotel to close sometime around 2027 due to non renewal of lease contract.

We loved the location opposite Kyoto Station. The "Viking" breakfast buffet was surprisingly diverse. Not its fault, but this hotel will permanently close because it lost its lease.

Liked the room; it worked very well for us. LOVED the shower set up. The shower did not disappoint, unlike other locations that we have stayed in. Lastly, location was also great. Located so close to the train station allowed for a variety of travel options to both get around Kyoto and to travel out around the area. Didn't really have any complaints for the hotel and staff.

Staff were helpful and accommodating - my friend and I had 2 separate bookings for this hotel and they accommodated our request to put us on the same floor when checking in. Location is good if you are planning to travel out from Kyoto Station. Lighting was a bit dim in the room.

The location so near the Kyoto Station was wonderful for us as we had several day trips planned from here. The decor was a little dated. The dinner buffet was not very good.
