Location is excellent! Rooms are amazing, spacious, well decorated, silent. Absolutely 10/10. If I were to be picky, I didn’t like the pillows. Other than this. No issues.

Our room was disappointing for $375 a night. Old, dingy, worn walls and carpets dirty. Terrible lighting. Shower was dark and awkward. No top sheet on bed. Breakfast was not great. Overall a 3 rated hotel at best.

I did not use the hotel restaurant but did go to the happy hour, good stop for a drink before dinner. Very polite staff, the concierge made us great restaurants recommendations. Great hotel and location.

Beautiful hotel, excellent location, wonderful staff. . My only issue is that it is a very small hotel (without a lot of common space/amenities). The onsen is very small but was never crowded.

It offers everything you could wish for from a boutique hotel: elegant design, spacious and comfortable rooms, a relaxing atmosphere, and an excellent spa/public bath perfect after a day of sightseeing. What truly makes this hotel special is the exceptionally friendly and professional staff, who go above and beyond to make guests feel welcome. The location is ideal for exploring Gion, Yasaka Shrine, and many of Kyoto’s most famous attractions. This Hotel exceeded my expectation. The room was large and quiet, with a large window giving on typical townhouses, a parking ( but quiet) and beautiful mounts. The beds were extremely comfortable. All the staff was super polite patient and helpful. They have a public bath that was beyond relaxing and a bar with happy hour. They have a free shuttle service to the train station. That i could not stay longer!
