In the heart of Kyoto. Fab location. Beds we super comfortable with two different pillows provided. Rooms were a great size with plenty of room, even with both suitcases open. Loved the overall look and feel of room. Great stay! Not a lot we didn’t like, probably that the bathroom didn’t have enough shelving space.

The hotel is in a great location, surrounded by plenty of shopping areas and restaurants, making it perfect for exploring on foot. The neighborhood is pleasant and enjoyable to walk around. The beds were very comfortable, allowing us to get a good night’s sleep after a day of sightseeing. The location of this hotel is the biggest plus point, it's very close to Nishiki market and the main shopping areas of Kyoto. It's also quite close to the metro station and key bus routes. I liked that you could see the status of the laundry machines on your room's TV. The staff at reception were always very polite and friendly and spoke good English. The rooms are a little on the small side. Laundry facilities a bit small for the size of the room, but the machines were quite cheap to use when available.

Great location and quiet hotel. Great soaker tub. Would have liked it a bit darker, the tatami screen over the window didn’t make it dark enough for us.

Close distance to the shopping area and the riverside so it is very convenient. I wish that the toilet didn’t smell so bad. The hotel building seems old so it can’t be help, but I recommend more effort in cleaning.

The location was great & very convenient as close to city centre & shops. The staff were very friendly & helpful. The batroom was a bit small & the windows were frosted so couldn not see the view outside.
