The beds are very comfortable, I had one of the best nights of sleep. The amenities are very nice and the showers are very clean and accessible.

The reception staff asked for my credit card details?? And kept repeating not to break anything, otherwise I'll have to pay a fine. I'm a middle-aged man, why would I break anything AND not to pay for it?

Beyond my expectation! Firstly from an accommodation perspective, the pod has a very comfortable mattress for a fantastic sleep, that also has a huge mount of storage underneath. Using the controller (not the iPhone version) I could have the bed perfectly flat to sleep, or have the bed in upright sofa position with room standing at the end of the bed to then comfortably stand or change clothing in privacy. Everyone was very quiet so it was very easy to sleep. The location was outstanding. Close to bus, train and walking distance to everything you could want! Absolutely nothing!

Exceptional location, right in the middle of Kyoto! Everything I wanted to see was within walking distance, or easily accessible by transit. I'm a finnicky sleeper and had zero problems with the lodgings. The sleeping quarters are dark and everybody is very quiet & respectful. The pod itself was probably one of the most comfortable sleeping arrangements I've had in my Japan travels - the bed is sizeable, pillows were cushioned, and my checked luggage comfortably fit underneath the bed. The breakfast was quite nice and the common area was great. My first hostel experience and the bar is going to be hard to raise after this! Thanks Millennials!

Excellent location. Great sleeping facilities, super quiet and super clean shower and restroom facilities. Elevator may be slow but there is never a big rush.

Open plan lounge space combined with co working space, fully equipped clean kitchen. Double bed with a recliner, convenient location one of the best places to stay in Kyoto

I really loved my stay here! It was such a nice hostel and great for solo travelers. It wasn't too party, but the perfect amount of socializing.

The marvelous staff and beds that concert into a lounging couch. It was also great to have a Japanese bathtub! Inconsiderate foreigners, who didn’t pick up their garbage and left hair and toothpaste in the sinks.

It right in downtown kyoto and bikes are readily accessible all you have to do is ask the help desk about it and they will cater it towards your liking. Rooms are quiet and easy to operate luggage space s pretty decent. The free beer every 5:30pm is a good option too I wish the luggage compartment is a little bit higher

The facility was relatively quiet, the value was excellent, and the staff was very helpful and kind.

The facilities are easily the best for any hotel I've ever stayed in. Free beer helps to gather everyone and it's very easy to meet people. Checkout is very early, but I think it's sort of normal in Japan.
