Great staffs, great services, and wonderful Hot Spring. The breakfast was one of the best.

Breakfast was nice, would be better if they can be rotated since we stay 3 nights there. It was same everyday. Onsen were great.

The hotel staff are doing all they can to satisfy the guests. The private onsens There is a strong feeling that in one hand the management is pointing the hotel as a five star one ( defenetly with the.ptices ) on the second hand all is very average in this hotel.with strong feeling of saving. Very law return for money

Hot springs are nice. Decent amenities, breakfast ok. DON’T WASTE TIME OR MONEY! Unbelievable strict policies. I tried to cxl within 4 hours of cancellation policy work ZERO response from them except they did not speak my language and hung up. This hotel is absolutely nothing close to $750/night that I paid, and even in high season $200 is about max in my opinion. Don’t book here, you can find very comparable accommodations much cheaper even if you wait to book close to arrival date in high season. So far from anything.

Great location for Kyoto...easy to get to Kyoto station and go anywhere or go to Arashiyama directly. My daughter specificially wanted to come back to this hotel on her second visit to Kyoto because it is so beautiful, relaxing, lovely for the onsen and rotenburo, and relaxed all around. Guest services were above par and letting us check in slightly before 3 when we were tired was really appreciated. If you don't sign of for kaiseki dinner at the hotel, which is excellent but sells out fast, then there are a great choice of restaurants on the 3F across the street in the modern building. The Kyoto fish market is also in that building which can be seen early morning. Pyjamas and yukatas were a great plus in this hotel. Suggestion: I would love to have bought some of the pyjamas for me and my family in the shop, but they are not available for sale. I think the hotel could do a brisk excellent business in selling the pyjamas and yukatas if they were included in the shop. The Japanese breakfast was above par, but western offerings were sub par for such a nice hotel. Pancakes too small. Pastries left something to be desired. The scrambled eggs, I am sorry to say, were inedible, at least for me. They were too runny. But breakfast cereal was very nice. I ate mostly Japanese breakfast which was terrific, but when you have been in Japan for a long time, occasionally you want a good western breakfast and that really needs improving.

Very cozy stay in Kyoto, good food, nice service, and relaxing onsen experience

I stayed 2 nights here and it was a great experience! The rooms are very clean and there are many facilities available to enjoy. The baths were well maintained with private baths available as well. I liked that there were snacks available throughout the day and drinks in the lobby. The pyjamas and yukata provided were very comfortable and the staff are helpful and kind. Would highly recommend!

The staff were extremely polite and attentive. The facilities were wonderful, and we were impressed by the number of things they offer during the day. We also enjoyed the breakfast a lot. All kinds of options were available, and everything was kept tidy at all times.
