Location is so-so

We had to pick up breakfast from reception and eat it in our room, which was not what we expected from a hotel with breakfast included. The ground floor was also very dark, like a basement.

This place was great. Not right in the middle of the tourist area, but well located for the train station and metro lines. The room was very large by Japanese standards. It was a very good value. No complaints

This place was so much more than I expected. It is in a new building, and is very well set up. It is not in the central tourist part of Kyoto, but is definitely close enough to get where you want to go without having to deal with the crush of the crowds. It is very quiet in the rooms. I would have thought there were no other guests except for the used towels etc left out for collection. The room was spacious with 2 beds. It was all perfect!

I enjoyed this hotel's location, its tucked away in a quiet neighborhood not too far from Tambaguchi Station, near some older architecture and lovely houses. There was a great cafe near by called Wakayama that I enjoyed having coffee at. There's also a near by sento/restaurant that I had a very nice meal set at. The rooms are clean and comfortable, I enjoyed that the window could open so I could get fresh air. Nice location for sure. This is not necessarily a negative but your room will have a physical key with an attached wooden charm to make it easy to find/hard to lose, but that can take up room on your person when you are out and about, probably best to put it in a bag if you don't have pockets.

Very clean and big. It even has a tatami mat. The toilet and bath are spot on, very modern and very clean. I like the toiletries too. Location. It is very far from the downtown and nothing to do around the vicinity. I arrived at 8pm and it was really scary going to the hotel because the streets are dimly lit. I was so hungry but I was afraid to go out because it was dark. The next convenience store is 5 kilometers away! After that, there is still nothing to see except rows of buildings. Would not recommend this if u want to see the sights and sounds of Tokyo.

Very clean and new, modern facilities, comfortable and more space than usual. Nothing really. The lobby is a bit small but that’s about it.

A very worthwhile room with two large beds and ample space for activities, with a bathtub and daily bathrobes and bottled water. The location is in the residential area, and the nearest station and convenience store are also a 10-minute walk away. It would be perfect if they could provide a desk that allows the use of laptops to work. There are no other problems.

The hotel is located in a quiet area, which was very relaxing. The room was large and comfortable. It was nice to have a tatami — it gave the space a traditional atmosphere. I really liked it! Fresh towels and a pijama were provided every day.

We booked two rooms, one for me and my husband, one for our four kids in their teens and twenties. One room was great. One wasn’t. Staff was exceptionally kind and accommodating. Apologized for not being able to give us a better room and quickly arranged a taxi on the day of our departure. Fifth floor room had a lovely view even though our first floor room felt like a dungeon. Very quiet. Good soundproofing. Very clean. - Only one physical metal key per room, even with four guests in a room. Inconvenient if you split up as our kids wanted to do. - One room smelled heavily of cleaner and carpet was damp. No view out the window. - Only instant coffee - Refrigerator did not get cold - Duvet covers didn’t close. It was like they were just wrapped in a flat sheet. - Toilet is not separate from bathroom in smaller room. - Food options are limited nearby, though we do recommend Olu Burger. - Luggage forwarding was twice as much as other places. Suspect an upcharge. We opted not to forward and just got taxis to the Shinkansen.

New clean cozy and comfortable room It is little far from old town

Good size room. I hope to be able to see outside from window but glass was non transparent. Also a bit far from bus stop or train station. Still great overall.

The location was amazing and the room was clean and bright Each morning I would have liked extra coffee and some form of milk

Location was ideal Train Subway all easy access. Happy hour was a plus. Only thing I didn’t care for was the fact they did not leave me coffee or tea, but brought my own so no issues.
