The bed was terrible and the location of the hotel is not great for exploring Kyoto.

I liked the no contact. And QR codes made the place easy to access. The facilities are clean and very quiet. Mmm not much really. I would have liked a more Japanese entrance to the room so people are forced to take their shoes off in the room but still fine as is!

Easy check in, check out. Store bags if needed. Close to Onsen, quiet neighborhood, comfortable bed.

A very nice hotel in the area not so flooded with tourists. Comfortable and clean rooms, friendly staff, a 5 min walk from the station and 10min walk from the bus station, which we ended up using far more often Overall great, no complaints If I understood correctly, there was no iron available, would be great to be able to use one

If i'm being really picky, the beds were pretty firm, but that's the norm in Japan so I have no right to complain! There wasn't a single other thing I could fault.

The location is right next next to an industrial area, with very few restaurants/stores nearby. Don't stay here if you want things to do within walking distance.

5 min walk to train line (2 stops to Kyoto station) and same line for one of main tourist areas. Other direction 7/8 min walk to buses which will take you to main hub of Kyoto. Not much immediate food / drink options available, so be prepared for extra steps or eat out before returning. Room was large for Japan expectations. Check in process is not great instructions are not clear and should be emailed before. We arrived earlier hoping to leave our bags but it was hard to find someone on site and everything says just to ring a phone number but no access to phone makes it difficult.

We were extremely surprised by this little hotel in Kyoto. The room was a lot bigger than expected, it was very quiet and comfortable, close to the train station. The staff was very kind too.
