Large, clean room and next to the Kintetsu Nara line Toji station. There are fun activities you can book or enjoy at the lobby; the breakfast/snack/drink bar area has a lot of delicious stuffs and we were very happy we stayed here on our way to Nara. The teas are very good. There is not much to visit within short walking distance, except Toji Temple; if you plan to enjoy the traditional Kyoto vibe, this may not fit the bill but as a convenient transition stay between Kyoto and Nara

Close to most amenities and public transport. Tried to have cold option aircon in the room, but only have heat and fan option which wasn’t cold.

Clean rooms and laundry facilities. Great location. brekky was yummy and it was good that you could also grab snacks and drinks during the day. Staff were also very friendly and helpful Nothing not to like

It is a new concept Smart Hotel. Everything Self self-service and well-designed for the purpose, everything was so clean and nice, a self-service cafe with a full range of food choices and nice coffee. The only thing I want to comment on is the room toooooo smalllll for two people and we both small size and still too small. No space for opening the luggage. That's why I cannot give you a rating of 10.

Staff were lovely, lobby was cute and the room was spacious. Our room had a really bad smell when we arrived, almost a strong body odour smell? Not sure if it was due to previous guests. I wouldn’t get the breakfast voucher if I came again. The food available was not good at all and very expensive. Some very mushy rice balls, the sandwiches were almost always out, I got the tonkotsu sandwich which was so bad I threw it out. The food available at connivence stores was much better and more affordable.

Functional rooms. 10 minute walk from the train station. Close to a large shopping mall. We paid for breakfast but just got credits for a self-service kiosk, which barely had any valid breakfast options (mainly sweets). Paid coffee was also poor.

Clean, quiet, comfortable rooms close to the train station (10-15 min walk) and the mall. Really liked the cafeteria with a lounge area in the lobby. One could buy there or bring their own food and heat it up. Complimentary tea a nice touch. Laundry room as well. Great base for exploring Kyoto Nothing
