Super clean, it feels like a hotel with all the amenities and design choice. Towel replenishment. I feel very safe here. Smells great. Super quiet and dainty. Best hostel ive ever been to by far It can be pretty warm to sleep. I was here in early June. I prefer to sleep in colder temperature

Clean and well maintained, centrally located, and lots of help with info about Kyoto. Best hostel I have ever stayed in.

The staff were super helpful, and helped me with my luggage transfer form which was greatly appreciated. 7 Eleven is a block or so away. It's very clean and tidy. Slippers and shoe cubby's are provided. The bathroom is outside the dorm (for women) so don't forget your swipe card!

One of the best hostels I’ve ever stayed!!! I was supposed to stay in another place that was terrible so I found Ryokan hostel last minute and it was FANTASTIC! Spacious, beautiful, with great amenities and at an amazing location. Staff onsite. Very clean. They change towels everyday. I dont have enough compliments! Ps. I did everything on foot. It’s very central and close to a lot the main things to do. Nothing

Amazing location and very quiet. Staff were very helpful. Laundry is located across the street and there is one machine on the top floor. Very clean and quiet. Private and clean showers and nice common area on main level. Sometimes only 2-3 showers were open for use and there was a bit of a queue but only really impacted me on one night - otherwise completely loved the stay and would stay again!

Beds were comfortable, and the bunks were cozy and quiet with walls all around which were nice. Spacious I thought for the little bunk rooms!

The location is amazing. Really nice communal area. Bed was comfy. Showers were great No air in the dorms, really smelly. No lockers for your stuff, all the bags in the hall between the beds.

For people with a lot of luggage like me, the shared room can feel quite small, but it’s only a minor detail.

Very clean, second time staying here and had good laundry right across the street and the location is amazing right in the middle of Gion.

This place is AMAZING. This is by far the best hostel I have stayed in in my entire life. The area in Kyoto is the best area you can stay in - it's right in the center, and it's very old and beautiful around with many restaurants. The beds are insanely comfy and spacious - I'm quite tall (193cm) and I had more than enough space, which can't be said for a lot of other capsule-style hostels in Japan. It's super clean and you get a fresh towel for free every day. The beds are insanely comfortable. Nothing, I would book this place again in a heartbeat.
