Excellent location not 3 minutes walk from Kyoto station! Very clean and modern facilities. Friendly staff and awesome food options for breakfast and dinner. Absolutely recommend! Not much negative to say. The hotel lobby / main floor is not insulated from the outside, so it can get warm in the summer season. But it feels very comfortable and modern.

The location was great. It was only about a 4-minute walk from Kyoto Station, and there was also a 711 and a drugstore right downstairs. First, the Wi-Fi was very poor and barely worked. I called the front desk, but they said there wasn’t much they could do about it. Second, There were no power outlets by the bed. The only outlets were at the desk. I also saw small flying bugs in the bathroom twice during my stay. Finally, the bathroom light had an electrical issue and kept flickering.

Great location, good for solo travel. Staff was friendly.

Location was great Welcome drinks should be available at all times

EVERYTHING! Honestly the best hotel during my visit to Japan!

  • Engine customer Jul 2026

The free drink service, onsen, and massage chairs! Made it such a fun comfortable Kyoto pad to come back to! Nothing.

Very good location. Delicious breakfast, enjoy able oncen with massage chair. Dinner was very pleasant and good quality Some small problem can not get some level room with friends it’s okay

The room itself is nothing like the photos and was pretty disappointing. I didnt find it very clean. I was given a room 2 steps from the elevator and a public garbage bin (which is probably clouding my opinion) but I didnt enjoy staying in my room, specifically. The hotel itself is superb.

The rooms are a little bigger. They had extra pillows when asked. We had a balcony. They gave us fresh towels every day. They had a welcome drink every night and some live music while enjoying our drink and dinner. Dinner was really good and reasonably priced! It is very close to the Kyoto station!! The luggage company this hotel uses was very confusing. The front desk helped a little but it was still really difficult to navigate the website. The hotel before sakura did all of it for us and that made it less stressful being in a different country.

The location is perfect, close to the Kyoto train station. The hotel and grounds are unique. The open-sky center area with foliage and lounge seating reminds me of a chic-motel. The breakfast was wonderful, many items to choose from. The room was superb for a family of four. The deck was relaxing, too bad it rained during our stay otherwise we would have enjoyed it more during our stay. Overall 10 across the board. Thank you No negatives. Good job.

Spacious rooms and patio, proximity to train All good!

Wonderful stay here. Wonderful room, and really amazing staff. Very professional and took great care of us. We loved the offerings at the small hotel bar as well. Additionally, our room was very spacious (I can't remember which room we booked) but I would highly recommend staying here. A short walk from the main Kyoto station. Nothing! We had an amazing stay.

First and foremost this hotel is literally just down the street from Kyoto station. We found the staff to be very friendly and helpful. We had a small hiccup with our room (very dated), but they made everything right by giving us a different room. This is a really unique hotel. They have amenities that I have never seen before. They offer a coffee pour over station that includes whole bean coffee and hand grinders. They have complementary massage chairs, how cool is that! We really enjoy the complementary drink every night at their outside lounge that had fire pits. The hotel has various lounges throughout the property that included free coffee and tea. They had a very clean onsen that I enjoy starting my day at. The onsen included a cold and hot soak bath, sauna and toiletries. The hotel does include luggage transfer service that they assist yor with. Overall a great stay, would not hesitate to come back.

Clean and 5 min walk to Kyoto station. Main bus terminal also within an 8 min walk. Shopping mall 5 mins away. Can’t beat the location! Free washer and dryer. Massage chairs. Please dont go there if you are a family of more than 4. They don’t let you sit in groups of more than 4 in common areas and you have to sign that agreement too. The welcome drinks are below average at best. They will not do an early check in and give any grace period for late checkouts unless you pay 3000Y per hour. They also can’t forward luggage if it’s being forwarded to an Airbnb.

Loved the location and local bath Nothing

Excellent location, and the staff is professional & helpful. The rooms are spacious by Japanese standards, and the common area is a pleasant place to sit and work or relax. This hotel is properly geared for tourists and it shows. Overall, good value for money. The bed wasn't awful, but it wasn't comfortable when compared with the other hotels I stayed in during my trip. The hollow floors in the rooms echo and magnify noise from surrounding rooms, unfortunately.

Room was quite good, restaurant was excellent, location of the hotel was really handy next to the train station. Price was very reasonable compared to anything western. Staff spoke English rather well. The only thing that caused worry was that I never got any email confirmation of my booking. Not sure if it was Booking or the hotel itself, but that caused nervousness. Ultimately, the reservation was fine.

  • Engine customer Jun 2026

The breakfast was amazing. The facilities were great; they had laundry, tea/coffee, massage chairs, and a public bath. It was also near the train station, however the hotel is not close to an

This hotel has a unique outdoorsy feel, it's very clean and well maintained. The "grind your own coffee beans" coffee station is a nice bonus as well as the free cocktail in the evening after a long day of sight seeing. The location was perfect and so close to the train station which makes it easy to take day tours to Nara and Osaka. There is a 7-11 super close that has everything you could possibly need with extremely fresh yummy food. I didn't like the fact that we couldn't eat our take away food in the lobby of the hotel at one of the tables. The staff actually made us leave and take it to our room.

The location and the layout it was a beautiful hotel Not so much of a service it didn’t feel welcoming At some point I was slowly talking to my mom over the phone and the receptionist showed up telling to shush even though I wasn’t speaking loudly and he was quite rude with the way he told me. I understand and respect the culture but not in that manner
