Small rooms

I felt like there was a little bait and switch. I booked a room for four including breakfast. Upon arrival, I was told I needed to book an additional room. Unfortunately the property did not have another room available for the duration of our stay. They offered to sell me one for some of the days at a highly inflated price. To be fair, they also suggested I could try to book online for a better rate. I made two more bookings on the spot, offering to consolidate our stuff in the middle of the stay, no problem. They confirmed the additional reservations for a second and third room went through. Then they told me to book yet again, the manager wanted me to pay even more. They discussed it a while. We finally got in but somehow lost half of our originally booked and paid for breakfasts.

Very nice, clean hotel near train station. Used every day spa / onsen at the side, very clean and relaxing. Exceptional breakfast with many choices, free caffe almost all day. all perfect

Very close to the train station and shopping areas. There is a lot of foot traffic and the area feels very safe. Staff is attentive, helpful and works as a team to see to any concerns or questions.

Loved the breakfast, food was really good. They have a smoker room inside, it smells a lot by the elevator of the second tower or if you go to the onsen area. They should just not have that and people go smoke outside.

It was very close to Kyoto station and Aeon mall. Across was 7-11 store that opens 24. They provided free coffee and juices everyday. The room was too small for a family, but it was clean. I wish staff could speak more English. If you don’t have Google Translate it might be difficult to communicate.

Close to the Kyoto station, perfect location.

Amazing location, close to Kyoto station and great as a base of operations when it comes to exploring Kyoto. Bus stations are also close and convenient! The public bath and sauna available to the guests of the hotel are also top notch! The space is the room is a bit too small and does not properly utilize the 16-18 square meters. There is no space to open a large suitcase, you have no option but to open it on the bed.

Great location. The place is close to close to Kyoto station and there was a 7 eleven across the street. The staff were very efficient in doing their job. The rooms were a bit small.

Very nice hotel close to Kyoto Station and beautiful guest rooms and atmosphere

This is a beautiful hotel in a great location near the train station. The staff was very professional and the breakfast was very good. I can’t think of anything I didn’t like.

The hotel is the best if you want to be near Kyoto station while being budget friendly. A nice bonus is that staff will supply you with water bottles for each person in your room along with a set of towels every morning. The room was cozy but the bed was really for one individual or for partners. Not really a room for two separate people. So, you might have to pay extra two get a separate bed, otherwise, get cozy with your family.

Great location right across from the Kyoto train station. Location is near lots of eateries and also next to a 7-11 for snacks and other items. Staff were very friendly, tatami room was comfortable and great for our toddlers, and room was extremely clean. The onsen was nice after a long day of walking too. Breakfast was fantastic with a wide selection of food.
