Smile Hotel Kyoto karasumagojo

the hotel is located in very quite are of Kyoto faw away from all tourstic noise. the hotel is located quite a long disctance from touristic area of Kyoto. Even thoiugh there is a Subway station close by , the entracen does not have an elevator and we had to carry out luggage.

The staff was super polite and helpful, next to the subway station and in front of the hotel the ramen’s restaurant is amazing. Great breakfast btw None

The location is great ! The breakfast buffet was very nice. The check-in is at 2pm (one hour earlier than usual) and the checkout is at 11am (one hour later than their competitors). That’s really customers oriented and a great bonus !

Staff were super nice and helpful they made phone calls for us when we couldn't and aided in translation.

Good central location steps from the subway and a 7-eleven. A short ride to many of the attractions. Clean and comfortable. Great breakfast buffet. Room was small but not too small to be a problem because we were out and about most of the time.

Good location next to Gojo station. Although Kyoto is a city that you need to use a bus a lot more often than you would in cities like tokyo. Friendly staff and were very helpful. Room was small as expected for most japanese hotels but this seemed smaller than others we stayed at. Outlets also didnt work next to the bed which sucks when you have a lot of things to charge on an international trip. Overall good experience though. Some outlets didn't work making charging phones, cameras, and portable chargers annoying having to only use like 2 outlets.

It was clean, nice and well ubicated. It was small and the shower was even more small.

An ideal location for exploring Kyoto. The hotel is close to the main station and practically next to the metro, which makes it easy to reach all major attractions. The breakfast was satisfactory, and the room was comfortable and well equipped. The pricing is very reasonable. Having access to a washing machine and dryer was extremely helpful during our trip around Japan. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. We experienced some noise from the bathroom, but the hotel team resolved it immediately. After that, we had no complaints or inconveniences during our stay. As the hotel’s name suggests — Smile Hotel — we left with a smile at check-out.

The location is excellent, it’s really very close to the station, which made traveling around super easy and convenient. I’d definitely recommend it.

The room was tiny. Although it was a little larger than APA Hotel. Bed was okay but not comfortable. Breakfast was average and could have been better. However, they did provide more than enough to eat for breakfast.
