Stay Sakura Kyoto Station South 1

The reception desk is separate from the location, but staying there was a great experience, and I have nothing to complain about. Check-out was really easy. Again, that was a great experience. The need to go to another location to get the access cards and room info was only a one-time, minor effort because communication was handled by email and worked perfectly.

great location for us to come and go from. it was great having a washing machine in our room sending our luggage from Osaka it was rejected as its not a manned property rather you go to central location. make sure you read find print properly. the team were really helpful in getting our luggage redelivered and even had it sent to our room

Sofa looks dirty but the rest looks clean.

Very close to the main Kyoto train station and several subway lines. Check and staff were very friendly.

Close to station -Too small room. Hardly ay space left after keeping our bags. -No closets tk keep our clothes. -No curtain or blinds on the windows, when reported, temporary arrangement was done which was not good enough to stop the street/ sun light, so very disturbing… used my eye patch -Difficult to communicate with the admin staff as no reception at the property.

The checkin n actual hotel is in different place and not in the railway station as stated. There are more hotel really in the station . The check in n the hotel are in two separate places.

With this kind of price in Japan, very spacious, comfortable and equipped. I will stay here again if I come to Kyoto. The location walking distance to station. Neighborhood is quite, and surrounding by restaurant. Convenient store also walking distance. Nothing that I can complain. I like it.

Bathroom and laundry A bit small, but comfortable

Not enough coffee in the room, washing machine not the greatest, cold water out of the tap never gets cold here in Japan, at least not during the summer. Small things!

It was close to the train station and a quick bus ride to Gion.

Very convenient walking distance from Kyoto Station, stores. Pretty quiet area considering it's near a major station. Not many people were walking around which was great but still I felt really safe. Really loved the washing machine (with provided detergent pods) and the bathroom's drying ability(?). Easy to check in and staff were very helpful and fast to respond when I had questions. n/a

The check in and the accommodation place are on different places, 5 to 10 minute walk. So it was a little bit tiring walking to check in before we can get rest in our accommodation.
