We loved the traditional style room. The service was great. Staff was exceptional. All the little touches made it very memorable. We enjoyed the ohnsen each night and it was such a relaxing authentic experience. Great location.

The location is really great! Super close to the shopping area, but in a quiet alley. The staffs are very friendly. The only thing is the breakfast time is only till 8:30am. It’ll be better if they can pack the breakfast in a box since my son couldn’t get up early enough for the breakfast.

Loved everything about the experience. From the staff, service, room, and breakfast, everything was incredible. Highly recommend for the traditional Japanese vibe and the location is right beside Sanjo, super convenient and exciting.

The ryokan had beautiful rooms and an exceptional garden which I could see directly outside of my room on two sides (I was in the garden corner room, the oldest in the ryokan). I did not get a chance to eat at the ryokan except for one breakfast, which was exquisite in taste and presentation (it was a Japanese breakfast as one would expect). The staff was very helpful at getting me acquainted with the functions in the ryokan, including the enjoyable public bath in the basement. It was perfect.

People working h there were respectful and kind. There were many small surprises. The location is a little far from stations, but close to Taramachi street.
-
I love its original japanese style, the quiet area around, the staff’s caring and respectfulness, its comfortable location and its loveliness in decoration. The price is still a bit high.

It was my first time having the Ryokan experience and everything was wonderful. My window view, but it was still okay.

Traditional ryokan. Beautifully maintained. The gardens are beautiful. I booked myself the private bath, which was great experience. The staff were extremely hospitable and took care of all my needs. I loved the traditional rooms. Walking distance from a lot of the attractions. Didn’t get the chance to experience the Japanese’s breakfast

The Ryokan was absolutely perfect. Super friendly staff and a great experience. We got tea and some snacks everytime we entered our room. The onsen was really lovely and traditional. Enjoy the hot water and after a long day of exploring Tokio.

Staff was very friendly, room was nice. Took a bit getting used to sleep on a futon, but I chose this room to experience that, so no complaints.
