This was a very clean hotel with spacious and comfortable rooms. There was a bus stop directly in front of the hotel, and a subway station was only a 3–4 minute walk away, making transportation extremely convenient. The room was quite large, especially by Japanese standards. Guests could also take as many personal care items as needed from the lobby, which was a nice touch. There was a 7-Eleven convenience store located on the ground floor of the building, and on the second floor there was a common room with a microwave available for guests. The second floor also included laundry facilities and a designated smoking room. The hotel was conveniently located, with most major attractions reachable within about 30 minutes. The city center was only a pleasant 15-minute walk away. Like everywhere else we visited in Japan, the hotel was exceptionally clean and very well maintained. We would definitely choose to stay here again on our next visit to Kyoto. Actually, nothing
