The clean factor, most motels are crummy. This one was a gem if you want a decent price close to chicago

I really cannot say a plus..the owners seemed nice however not sure of language barriers The noise of the cars and trucks. The location and power plant buzzing, the fact bed was uncomfortable 1 blanket, pillow was small and only one, the foyer was smelt mouldy and was very dodgy feel.. oh yeah and turn on the TV and porn was on...

Very clean and tidy and the staff were very friendly. I would stay again if I come back to Chicago. Nothing really. My stay was relaxing.

I contacted them a few days in advance and asked to cancel 2 out of the 4 nights, but I was completely ignored. I sent messages and was told to call a number, then after calling that number I was told to send a message again. Nobody actually helped me. It honestly feels like I was intentionally being sent back and forth without any real assistance.

The pillows are very flat and the bed isnt the best for a long stay. But overall a pleasant stay for a short period of time. Would recommend bringing your own pillows and blankets for a more comfortable stay if your staying longer.

The thing my fiance and I liked best was the gas station / dunkin donuts 10.steps away from the hotel. Was very convenient for snacks, coffee, and a source of food. Has a very good selection of international food as well, highly recommended that place alone. The bed was made very nicely and neat, very comfortable as well, and the front desk man asked if we needed extra pillows/blankets when we checked in at night. Despite a slight language barrier, he was very caring and considerate. We didn't like the fact that the room smelled HEAVILY of bleach. I don't mean like you could smell a little cleaning product, the entire room was full of a strong bleach smell so bad, it took 2 hours of having the windows wide open for the smell to woft out. The shower pressure is so low, it's just like someone is peeing on you, it's only a little itty bitty stream of water that doesn't even get that hot at all. The bathroom floors were obviously in bad shape, but very clean.
