A truly excellent property and staff. Meal at Mustang last night was the best I've had anywhere in the past year. Rooms are up to date, spotless and nicely decorated. Can't say enough good things about this place, the staff and the food. Light years better than our stay at the Coronado Inn earlier this week. Will come back.

Amazing property & colorful gardens. Definitely coming back.
-
the room was nice, the pool was great. the breakfast was excellent. the hotel could use use some refreshing.
-
Beautiful landscape, excellent food, and comfortable rooms.

Staff are very friendly

Beautiful, relaxing, clean. Need more elevators for handicapped people. I guess that was my mistake for not asking for a room close to elevators or on the 1st floor. We stayed on the 3rd floor.

This property is a beautiful complex. Lovely grounds, nice pool, nice restaurants, upscale rooms. That said, it’s expensive. Food and drinks on site are delicious but a bit overpriced. For example, the breakfast buffet is $45 a person without any alcoholic beverages and cocktails at the pool are around $20. We went there for our honeymoon and it was a very nice homebase for the week. Easy trip into the town of La Jolla to eat or into San Diego or Temecula wine country or even across the border into Baja California. There were a few times I wish the staff would have been more helpful but overall, it is a nice resort.

The rooms look very outdated. Clean, but certainly, the price is overstated. The staff is not very helpful as well. Disappointed.

Our room was not ready at check in time (4pm). We were never notified of this when we pre-checked in at 3pm. We were told that the people in the room had a late check out and that it would be ready no later than 6:30pm! After getting upset, a manager came out and said the room was ready. I am sure if I did not get upset, we would have been waiting longer. Other than that, our room was clean and comfortable. The location is very convenient.

Staff were friendly and very nice outdoor view. We had breakfast at Greenwich. Food took long time to be served even though they only had a few tables.
-
The staff was nice and generally quite quick to help. They posture as an upscale resort and spa, but housekeeping left my room-service waste outside my room when they cleaned (they moved it from inside on a table to outside on the ground) and there were rats outside my door in the evening. The food is all generally the same, despite having four restaurants. There is a kitchen next to the gym and pool so you smell grease extensively while working out and swimming. All in all though better than most other hotels in La Jolla area.

Great location.

So fresh and clean. Comfortable beds and soft bedding. Great food on the property and the vegetation and courtyards are beautiful. Definitely a must stay destination
-
Quiet and clean Parking fee seems outrageous but they said market - my response is be better than market; stand out

-
Great property, location and staff.
-
Property was so beautiful lots of artwork around, staff very accommodating, and rooms were spacious very modern with a touch of mission style. It was a very romantic place to get away for a wedding anniversary. Service was great, could hear upstairs and next-door neighbors children, which of course can’t be helped
-
Very polite and helpful staff. Great amenities and the property was well maintained. A nice stay.
