Residence Inn by Marriott San Diego La Jolla

We enjoyed our stay very much. The suite had a full kitchen stocked with dishes, silverware, and pans, along with a dishwasher, and an ice maker in the fridge! There were 2 levels with 2 bathrooms with plenty of room for the 5 of us to spread out. Very important with 3 kids and 2 adults. The kids enjoyed the pool as it was only 5ft at the deepest so they felt more comfortable. Breakfast service was a nice variety, and the cold brew coffee was a lovely addition. All in all, 5*.

The location was one of the best parts of the hotel. It was conveniently located near the freeway, making it easy to get around and explore the area. The coffee was also decent and a nice way to start the day. However, the hotel felt overpriced for what it offered. The food was underwhelming, and our room was not as clean as it should have been upon arrival. The property and guest rooms are also showing their age and could benefit from updates and renovations. While the hotel advertises spacious suites and amenities, the overall condition of the room did not match the premium price we paid. Overall, the location was convenient, but between the high cost, mediocre food, cleanliness concerns, and dated rooms, I would likely consider other options for a future trip to La Jolla.

Overall there are no complaints. Property was clean. Breakfast was good. The complex is pretty big, but there was plenty of parking and it was quiet

Little bit older Residence Inn but clean and well kept.

It was close to UCSD We were charged additional fees beyond what was listed on our Booking reservation.

Everything was perfect Heavy construction machinery around the back of the building.

The room was clean I reccomend this hotel.

I appreciated the fact that the hotel was close to every place we needed to go to. The staff was amazing upon arrival and departure. The space of the hotel was amazing I didn’t like that the hotel rooms are outdated and the stove door was broken.

Exceptional

Breakfast was good- lots of options. The staff were very nice- front desk and especially the breakfast attendants. The suite was spacious and clean. Also, the pool area was clean, the water was refreshing and it wasn't super crowded. Our front door to our room was probably painted recently because it stuck and you had to throw your shoulder in to it to open it (more funny than anything really) and the toilet on the main level developed a little leak but we let the front desk know about it.

Great stay!!! My daughter was accepted yo UCSD and we went to check out the campus and stayed in family suite. It was amazing staff fantastic and we walked to UCSD campus. Great stay and would stay again and highly recommend it.

The room was really nice, I had a short stay and the location was very close UCSD and there were a lot of food options at a walkable distance. The breakfast was better than most hotels I've been at, and they let us do an early check-in for free when we signed up to be a Marriott member

Found some candy wrappers and a coin under the sofa bed. Noticed extra charge fees of $84.00 from the bill no itemization.
