Best Western Plus La Mesa San Diego

It was so noisy we could not sleep from traffic . Did not receive the charge for incidentals as of yet and it was a month ago

Room was so over fragranced it was unbearable. The odor was so strong it absorbed into our clothes. Found a whole house are freshener pad inside the air conditioner fan. Even after I removed it, the room was too far gone to recover. Breakfast is on the 2nd floor stuffed into a tiny toom which barely hold 10-12 people. Avoid it.

Nice hotel but stay on the top floor we had a family above us that used the room as a playground. We could not sleep, had to call the front desk to ask for some quiet. 2am in the morning before they settled down.

The hotel had big rooms, free breakfast, and free parking. The gentleman that worked the afternoon and evenings at the front desk was so kind and helpful. Definitely recommend!

Night staff was super friendly and helpful. Pool was way too crowded with non guests & water was cloudy! AC didn’t work great and ice machine on our floor was broke

Very disappointed with our room as it was facing the freeway and the noise was awful ALL night. Even a noise machine didn’t help. Possible rooms further away could have been better. Pool water was not clear.

The room was clean but it didn’t seem like the hotel was maintained very well. The hotel doesn’t seem old, just seems like it needs some TLC. The beds were pretty comfortable. The breakfast was good. In town for a swim meet and would probably stay again.

Convenient location, right off of 8. Not a lot of restaurant choices within walking distance. Morning breakfast was great.

The hotel is old and a bit smelly. Next to freeway. Very loud freeway

Right away, the woman at the front desk was very friendly and greeted me with a fresh chocolate chip cookie. I had a question about my bill and the deposit which was explained thoroughly and professionally. The room was clean, simple and very nice. Beware of a coffee machine, it seems like a Keurig, but it’s not intuitive. I poured more than a single cup full into the brewing compartment and it overflowed when pouring coffee. Oh well. The pool and hot tub were adequate, breakfast buffet was nice, I would come back to this place.

The employees were all friendly and helpful. The property was a bit old, but it has been updated. Breakfast was good.

Book here frequently for my employees, they all enjoyed their stay. Thank you.

Need a better breakfast

jacuzzi not hot and very noisy, room had a smell to it. Left the window opened. They sprayed something after I complained but that was worse.

Our 3-night stay was enjoyable. The breakfast was above average, and there is an excellent restaurant right door we could walk to. The only drawback was the freeway noise.
