Room was very comfortable. Unique decor. Handy to restaurants and cafes

Loved the decor! The owner's personal attention was superb even a few days before our arrival. He took the time to come and greet us. Betty, the receptionist, was kind and attentive to our needs. Staying here our last day amply compensated for the unpleasantness of another hotel. Very glad we now know about Aquamarina. Nothing to dislike. Everything was great.

The Aquamarina is a jewel, a sane & low key spot to catch your breath, even dip into the small pool after a hot day. If you want charm & character but don’t want to sacrifice comfort, cleanliness, or amenities then this is the place! Note that it is a 15m walk into the happening part of town with nightlife. That suited us just fine but may not suit all, although the area felt entirely safe as we strolled back after the early March sunsets. Pluses include: — Charming space, both common areas and the spacious, exceptionally clean rooms; — Friendly, accommodating, not intrusive staff; — Everything worked as intended - hot water, water pressure, AC, etc. — Many nearby restaurants, not the high-end ones of the waterfront, but tacorias galore, fab Italian food at LaCasa Madre, and numerous breakfast options. — other conveniences include coffee shops, convenience stores, etc to meet the needs of this low rise residential/commercial area — Walk to the waterfront in 15 minutes, or drive there in 5m. Many residents keep dogs in their nearby homes or fenced in yards. They often bark suddenly and loudly at passersby. Sidewalks are often uneven, just broken, or gone in this part of town. Keep an eye out for steps up/down, missing stones or chunks of cement.

Charming, lovingly decorated old house with a rustic, nautical theme. Oozing with beauty snd character. Great location: Walking distamce to the marina and malecon, snorkel and dive centers, restauarants yet quiet and safe. No noisy guests. Helpful staff, family owned local small hotel. As it was a charming old home It did not have a spa, infinriy pool etc but I wasnt expecting it to be a modern resort. The property had what I wanted.

The location was nice; about 5 blocks from the Malacon. The coffee shop about a block away was awsome. The rooms were nice but they are only rooms; no refrigerator, coffee maker, tv, etc. No coffee maker, tv or refrigerator in the room.

The staff is very friendly and helpful. The room was nice size and very clean with a cool nautical theme and the common areas were comfortable and welcoming. Everything was very satisfactory, we will definitely stay here again on our next La Paz visit.

breakfast was excellent! Always nice.

Cozy and comfortable. Too far from the action….had to take a lot of Ubers which were inexpensive but time consuming.

Nothing Extremely overpriced, AC doesnt work, shower pours droplets of water and nobody seems to know how to check guests out. I went to check out, paid for the laundry and asked if everything was good and they said YES took my key and I left. After 2h they call me to ask me to DRIVE BACK there for an $9 outstanding bill for two coffees. Literally harassing me to go drive back, I was in a different town already. The issue is that I asked if I was good to go and they said YES. I understood that the coffee would be billed in my card or something, specifically because I paid cash for the laundry. I had to ask another guest that I met there to settle my coffee otherwise they wouldn’t stop calling. So I suggest if you stay in the place make sure to ask 100 times you leave if you are settled.

Clean, quaint, good location

So clean and close to Malecon. The pool was great too! Nothing

The room was nice and clean, the A/C and wifi worked well, and the staff were helpful and professional. Even though there was no parking lot, it was very easy to find street parking right in front of the hotel. We also enjoyed the fun nautical theme. Noise. The A/C unit made very loud, sudden noises all night that would startle us and wake us up. This is something that should be fixed. There were also loud barking dogs and street traffic that could be heard from the room all night.

There was no breakfast, location was great!! Small shower with no door that made it messy

Clean, cute, nice decorating, themed, amazing staff. The area was quiet, parking out front. A few blocks away from the water.

Beautifully furnished, we requested a quiet room and it was quiet. Staff were very accommodating as we arrived later than planned. Highly recommend!
