It was close to the train station, restaurants, port. The air-conditioning not the best and the bathroom would be needing a little bit more cleaning.

It said that there would be a parking space. However, when we arrived we found out that there was no included parking. Also, the beds were uncomfortable.

The shared facilities , we arrived and it was so messy with the other couple’s items on the floor and in the common area . They took over the kitchen completely. It’s a long walk from the train station .

location It was dirty, the air conditioning was poor, I did not expect to share a kitchen , no microwave. As I opened the windows, there was an old , wet rag thrown on the roof among other trash. The bed pillows were flat. The lamp on the left side of the bed by the widow is broken- I mean in three pieces; perhaps missing screws. A lot of dust under the bed. The room looks and feels like it hasn’t been cleaned in a long time. The bath towels were of plain linen cloths , not towels; doesn’t absorb wetness.

The room (private room in a shared apt, not a B&B, not an hotel room) has a great location: about 15 minute-walk from the train station and in a walking range of all the restaurants and bars. The WiFi is good and the bathroom is well-equipped (as big as the room, more or less). Even though we were disappointed, in general, we chose this place because it was the most affordable place in La Spezia for our dates. The check-in was a nightmare. Yes, we had the lockbox code to get in the building. If I hadn't screenshot the Wifi info in advance, we would have problems getting in the flat. The apt door is not even identified and we had to find another hidden key to access our room. I think some banks are easier to rob than this place to check-in. It would have been so much easier to have someone help us in... anyways I won't rabble any longer about that. The other disappointing thing was the cleanliness. There were rolls of dust under the bed, some stains on the bed and the floors cleanliness was below average.

Price, location and bathroom for one person is awesome. It's an apartment with 2 rooms with shared kitchen and balcony. You are in one of the two rooms
