The owner Tommy is very nice and will make sure to show you a great time, he also runs the Macarena hostel and it’s worth a stay there as well

That doesnt say he just leave hostel without any reception almost all the time. Stoves doesnt work, ac doesnt work and new ones were installed in my last day, toilet is the weirdest one ever, not social hostel at all, not the cleanest as well. To be honest I regretted booking it

Bed and sheets were clean Didn’t love my stay. I was in the top bunk in a 8 bed room. The top railing for my bed where you would typically grab on to climb up on was completely rusted out, like I mean completely. If I wanted to I could have torn it off with my bare hands. Location is next to a party area so if you’re a light sleeper good luck haha you’re going to need it Didn’t love the bathroom, very small and for some reason always crazy humid, the shower stall was tiny and kinda gross and there’s nowhere to hang your clothes up while you shower. Overall it wasn’t a terrible hostel but it was definitely not my favourite either. 5/10 manageable but not ideal. No AC it’s hawt at night

Stayed in Macarena hostel by the same owner, Stephan and luis are amazing guys, running the hostel, Stephan showed me a lot of cool places around the town and we had a really good time together.

No bed curtains and it’s easy for anyone to just walk in and out of the building

everything was perfect!! staff if amazing especially the owner tommy who was the best!! i was only supposed to stay for 3 days and ended up staying more than a week because i loved it so much!! the location is amazing too close to everything i needed and amazing beaches!!

Ended up staying in the Macarena and it was top notch facilities. Friendly staff and owner, Sauna, Jacuzzi, Pool table, good kitchen facilities and lounge. The hangovers ?

The bed was ok I didn't stay in this hostel but had to stay in another one run by the same guy who is quite unfriendly. His communication style is offensive and not professional. I had booked another night but wanted my money back as I obviously didn't get what I booked but instead I received insulting what's app messages and accusations.

It was a really great vibe in general and is clearly managed well and with care. Staff are lovely, the rooms are clean and the communal areas have a great vibe to them Lack of clothes washing facilities, bathrooms are a bit small.

I stayed at Macarena Hostel and would stay again. Awesome communal spaces (especially loved the pool table), spacious dorm, bathrooms were great, staff were the best! No complaints ?

Reserved 1 hostel, and then I was settled in in another hostel which was 5 minutes away. It was amazing and way better as it had a modern kitchen, pool and a room with TV. Rooms were nice with lockers and a drawer to put your luggage.

I ended up being moved to the Macarena hostel around the corner (owned by the same people) as my original room was being refurbished. Very central, rooms were big with lockers and curtains on the beds, also cleaned everyday. Staff were lovely and easy to contact. The hostel had a very communal vibe and activities on which made it easy to meet new people as a solo traveller :)
