Bella Vista Suites

We went for LG's Venician night - only 6 boats participated. And then they had a decent fireworks show after. I say decent, because they had booked us in room 201 where a beautiful tree blocked 50% of the view of the fireworks show. We booked a lake view room. The gentleman who checked us in gave us the impression that they upgraded us to a lake view room. Which concerned me... This showed a lack of attention to us - or he was trying to sophmorishly curry favor with us - didn't work.

The spacious rooms, the comfortable bed and the cleanliness was great. I like the mini kitchen and nice deck The room we stayed in off the kitchen was very dark so we had to put the standing lamp in there. Ceiling fans would be nice in the room and a spacious vanity to maybe put your clothes in so you can get your suitcases out of the way I hate flipping through my suitcase is looking for stuff. It would be nice to throw it in something to get it. More organized, but definitely needed more light in our room. I think our friends room was fine that I know of that again I think more spacious vanities cause we both have two suitcases each one staircase holder to use my husband wishes that you had like a little breakfast thing, but the coffee nook was nice

Reasonably priced spa on Lake Geneva was perfect for a quick getaway. Lovely views and lakefrong walkway. Very relxing.

The room was clean and comfortable. The evening front staff was not very forth giving. Had to ask how to get from underground parking. Never gave direction to our room. Gave us the keys and room number. Very expecting that we had been at the hotel before. It felt as if we were interrupting him from something. Other staff that we encountered were very nice. We will return because we liked the property and the location, which was close to everything.

The location and staff are great. Upon arrival, the room had a towel from prior guests on the bathroom door, a half discarded pill was on the floor and the fridge wasn't sealing completely. The upgrading here isn't great. For the price, my expectations were higher. (The staff quickly resolved the cleanliness issue, which was greatly appreciated.) The lake view from the balcony is nice.

Everything was clean. Everything and worked. We liked it. The only thing that needed attention was to tighten the toilet set.

Stayed 8-1-2026. The location is great with an awesome view of Lake Geneva. The outside of the property looks very nice and well maintained however don’t be deceived by the pictures you may find on these sites. This property needs a full overhaul of all its rooms. We checked in and the AC was shut off so the room was 85 when we walked in. They only have an ac wall unit on one side of the unit so it’s only cold on that side of it if it stays running for the day. The opposite end of the unit where the couch and main entrance was still warm because the ac did not reach that far and the ventilator fan in the wall was built in 1947 and was extremely tired. The mini fridge didn’t work so the ice was melted leaving a puddle of water in the fridge that spilled everywhere when we opened it. The bed was so soft and hasn’t been replaced in quite some time from what I could tell. The bathroom barely had enough light so it was almost dark while showering and the ventilation was also horrible in there. It was clean overall however instead of remodeling the rooms they chose to just throw some paint on the walls, change the vanity to something fancy and new furniture. We spent 5 star resort money on a 2 star hotel. We will never stay here again.

Bella Vista is located just a short walk away from the shops, restaurants, and boat tours. The suites are spacious and clean.

Beautiful rooms. Do not like the late check in time. We were next door to a wedding party. Extremely loud all night. And the staff knew about it!
