Inn on the Hill

The rooms were incredibly clean... but the walls are thin. Pray you don't end up on the first floor with a toddler above you. It was really nice that you could chose your 'level' of services for the room. Pool was sparkling, but a tad on the chilly side. Definitely want to come back to the lake soon.

This is a perfect location for visiting and spending time in Lake George. There is a trolley that goes by every 25-30 minutes. So you’re able to go down to the village and then come back. Such a perfect view we were able to enjoy the pool and then go up and hang out on the front patio deck, area of our rooms. Bald eagle flying around quiet tranquil Lake George, after dark they have options for if you bring wood that you’re able to fire and sit around the fireplace, you can also bbq and the rooms do have a fridge. I will be back also send people to this gem!

As a solo traveler this was my first visit to the property. I have to say it was a totally pleasant experience. Quaint little place with a great overall vibe. They have done very well maintaining it and the rooms were clean, quiet and updated. The staff is very accommodating and professional. It sits in a historic location and as a result any exterior upgrades are challenging. However, they do a great job. Pool was very useful as well as balcony. Plenty of seating as well as privacy. I had to take away 1 star because of the size of bathroom. Little smaller than I'm used to but not a difference maker. Will definitely be visiting the property again in near future. 👍 Good job Marie Ellen (hope I got the name right) and Annie! 😊

It was an enjoyable stay just outside of town and only a short drive from Great Escape

Room was very up-to-date and bed was outstanding in comfort. Pool was very clean and good temperature. Property is well-located.

It’s a quiet place to stay, but not walkable to the lake area .

We had a wnderful stay. The inn is clean and quiet. We enjoyed the pool and deck. we will definately sta here again.

Great place to stay, and reasonable pricing.

Overall it is fine. It has basic rooms but everything in the room was clean. Swimming pool also looked fine but didn’t use it. The property overall is very rundown with lots of garbage visible under the stairs. Carpet outside the rooms are extremely dirty. It is fine as long as we stay inside the room. Comparing the price it is not a value.

Perfect for a short stay

We had a fantastic experience staying at Inn on the Hill. While the rooms are a bit older, they are extremely well-kept, very clean, and cozy. The pool area is absolutely beautiful and a huge highlight for relaxing.The entire property feels welcoming, and the lady at the front desk was so nice and helpful when we asked her for recommendations on nearby places to visit. The location is great and close to everything. We had no complaints at all and are already planning to head back before the summer ends with my daughters!

The room had no counter space at all. I’m not a place for the toilet paper so the toilet paper fell on the sink and got wet other than that. Very pleasant stuff very clean property really great location. The pool was very clean too. It was cold.
