Pinebrook Motel

The location is perfect. There’s a little Brooke behind the motel that you can catch small wild trout and small brookies in. We enjoyed that very much. Easy walking into town. Steep Hill, so there’s a lot of walking up and down be prepared for that

I like that it was close to everything, location was perfect, beds are ok, place is clean, staff is friendly, great if you are only looking for a place to sleep after a long day of walking in the city. During our stay guests from other rooms were outside their room, drinking and smoking weed, being very loud till 3am, definitely a bad experience, specially since i was traveling with my girls.

We stayed in the 3 bedroom house. It was clean and comfortable. The pool was also clean and well maintained. We also used the BBQ, deck with tables and chairs and the fire pit. It was nice to be able to have these options available to enjoy while being outside. I would suggest that the Deck around the pool be looked into being made a little safer. There were numerous nails starting to lift out of the wood possibly becoming a hazard for injuries. We had to walk carefully watching that we didn't hurt ourselves on the lifted nails.

The property was old room smelled like mildew door lock didn’t lock properly there was no safety chain inside . No one came to clean room . The tv set didn’t work and was reported nothing fixed . Booked for 3 days could not get refund for early check out only stayed 2 days paid for 3 days . The last day with Canadian fires had issues due to poor ac ventilation in room . Would not recommend this property to anyone .

Only thing good was it was near the lake and in a peaceful place . They don't clean spider webs it was every where bathroom , near furniture . They didn't provide fire wood to burn as it was chill when we went ,the very first day we asked to get lighter to burn the wood ( which was actually not the fire wood ) my husband brought lighter ( as donot have to burn as per staff ) and the oil to burn it because my son really want to sit near it and relax . The next day when we ask to arrange they simply said we must get our own wood to burn that sounds completely insane . Will never stay again My kids were very disappointed we stay for 3 nights and this is what you get in turn. And they also turn off the lights at the deck so cheap .

It was clean and organized The bathroom sink would not drain when it was being used. The water pressure in the shower was not very good. And the hot water in the shower did not last.
