Very clean and neat There were absolutely no towels, hand towels or wash cloths. We were advised to bring our own beach towels if we were going to the beach, which we were not. We did not anticipate not having towels of any sort. (We used our pillow cases to dry off after showering.)

Location. Service. No soap and shampoo, no towel provided, kitchen utensils very old and low quality. Just one fire pit in the whole property.

Private beach, quiet, short ride to towns, cabin was clean fresh wooden walls ceilings Too expensive for a cabin, no blankets provided in summer even though over night was chilly outside 53F. Kitchen was equipped with coffee maker but you had to bring the coffee!!!! For this price you can provide at least the basic. No pool.

John is lovely and cares about his guests. The accommodation is very clean and functional, but a little tired. Access to the lake is great and so is parking. We also got great dinner recommendations and fishing at the lake was a lot of fun with our five kids. They had a blast.

The rooms were very no frills. A lot of flies. The vibe of the place is really nice though, the people who own/run it were super nice and it has a lot key family vibe.

We needed a few days to get away for a change of pace. We found diamond cove the night before and decided to stay for 4 days. They have updated kitchenettes and comfortable bedding. They have wifi from all locations on the property. The beach is quiet,clean with lounge chairs, rowboats and kyacks. They have a small work out room and small game room with two play grounds for small children. It's not the Hilton but it's a ok mountain get away on Lake George.
