The Villas on Lake George

Beautiful spot, right on lake with some options for use of kayaks, paddleboards. Nice pool as well. Rooms were very clean, if a little dated, but our suite was large and accommodated us well. Staff was helpful, friendly, and welcoming. Would come back!

Unfortunately the pictures made the property look much more updated then it is when you arrive , I had a garbage pail with food and full of flies outside my door in the hotel . We checked in 45 minutes after check in started you would think the area would be free of trash and filth , there was no hand soap in the bathroom there was no paper towels in the kitchenette. there were stains all over the mattress . We ended up checking out 2 hours after we checked in and went shopping for all the things you would expect in a room at any other hotel .

Very nice place in general. The owner of the property is very friendly just like the guys who work there.

This was our third stay at The Villas on Lake George, and we love coming back! The property is beautiful, clean, and well maintained. The villas are comfortable, the staff is always friendly and welcoming, and the peaceful atmosphere makes it the perfect place to relax. We highly recommend it and can't wait for our next visit!

A solid, well run, family resort at the price point. On the water, nice spaces to swim, boat / ski rental at property, great service.

Resort was just ok nothing special. Room was a little too small for party of 4. I would advise booking bigger houses on the property but smaller rooms are only for 2 people

Owners were very nice. The rooms are what you would expect in Lake George. The driveway was ripped up and a little hard to navigate. Pool had a leak, out of order. But all in all not a bad place.

Our stay, it was awesome.We had cabin twenty eight, which had a porch view of the lake bed, was extremely comfortable , the suite had everything you needed for a long weekend or even a week. Everything was clean. Some things could have been updated, but it worked its purpose for us. The staff was extremely helpful and very friendly. We would definitely stay again.

direct access to the lake, grill, air conditioner, overall it was clean and the beds were comfortable The sink was clogged. There was a missing cover plate on one of the electrical outlets. In some areas, the laminate flooring felt unstable and sagged when walked on. There was also no bath mat in the bathroom, which made it uncomfortable because the tile floor was cold. There was black mold around the edges of the bathtub in the bathroom. the description said that the pool was heated, but in fact it turned out that this was not the case, also a saw black mud at the bottom of the pool. Than poor Wifi speed, so even a mobile phone couldn't download instagram

Not much- place is very run down. Nice piece of property that could be so much more. Well-the whole place is outdated from the 1960s! There are many bandaids put on these units from the floors to the doors and windows. The wood is old and disgusting. Besides that the bathroom is a disgrace. Could use a demo and a redo. Water barely draining while you shower- gross. Clean it up or shut it down would be my suggestion. Not sure how you can charge ppl for sub par accommodations.
