They have provided thorough instructions for parking in case there’s snow fall

The location and views of the lake were exceptional. The sunrise was the most spectacular I have seen The shared bathroom, though clean and well planned was a bit of a trek in the darkness and cold of night.

Location is great. Your view is the lake once you step out of your motel room. Room is a bit small.
-
Saw wild animal rabbits hopping around. And very nice lake view. Not at all.

Cozy, heated cabin, well stocked with items needed for cooking/eating, electric kettle in room. Beautiful view of Lake Tekapo, and can see stars from the cabin if conditions are right. Bathroom facilities were clean and updated, easy to access. There is a shared kitchen, with lots of fridge storage and cooking/prep space. We didn’t use the laundry facilities but that was available too with multiple washers and dryers. Bathroom can get quite cold. Cabin is a little small, we had a full sized bed and two sets of bunk beds in the cabin, so not much room to move around or store any of your stuff. We left a lot of our bags in the car and only brought in the essentials.

Loved the location
-
location. lake views. ongoing construction so there’s a lot of dust and noise
-
Amazing location, could not have asked for a better view to wake up to. The heating pad on the bed didn’t work.
-
Stayed for one night to break up a long drive. The cabins are ok for that purpose, they were warm enough and bed was comfortable. Daily rate is very high for old dated facilities.
-
Very nice staff, small private cabin with designated parking, cutlery and pots and pans provided for cooking in communal kitchen, very conveniently located to Mt John’s trailhead, the beautiful sunset views from our room on lake Takepo. Close proximity to coffee shops, 4 square grocery store etc. Bunnies on the beach. Bathrooms are not the cleanest, there are cobwebs on the stalls. Very confusing times shower system that doesn’t always work. Loud construction from 8:00am -5pm, we were warned of noise when we booked our room however.
-
Great location! The pools were a big hit! Definitely recommend getting a unit with a lake view
-
We booked the Kiwi Bach which is in the lake side. The facilities are great, clean rooms and the wifi is fast. Close to the Lake Tekapo and just a few mins drive to the Church of the Good Shepherd.

Beautiful location.
-
The location. Broken zipper for the mosquito net, the shared kitchen tent had one spoon to be shared by all the tents, the facilities were not very clean.
-
This is for the motel portion — Great location and views of the lake. On top of the hill so you get a Birds Eye view. Right in town and walkable. If there’s nowhere else to stay in town this is an okay place. Beds were uncomfortable.
-
very nice view, good location, peaceful environment, clean room, friendly staff. fixed shower head is difficult for little kids.

We had a long flight a day before and gone long way from Christchurch to Tekapo. We were overslept due to 6 hours time zone gaps with our country. At 10.00 am, cleaning guy came and asked us to move out right away or he will call receptionist to charge us extra. We said wait for 15 minutes to packed up and leave. But this guy were impatient and wasting out time to pack our belongings.

Location is awesome , good value There was no soap or anything in the shower area , not even a tuck shop to buy stuff for such an expanded property, The dining room could have been more clean
-
Expensive for having no private bathroom

Great place on the opposite side of the lake! The cabin was spacious, clean and had kitchen utensils as well a kettle. Towels were provided. Ladies bathroom was large with many showers/toilets available. There is a path to the center by the lake unfortunately it is not lit all the way if you want to go at night/sunrise. Kitchen was small for the amount of people staying on campsite. My shower head was not tight enough so it sprayed over my dry clothes behind door! Many rabbits at night looking for food scraps. For how much there are charging facilities should be better care for.
