I love that we were able to relax and enjoy the greenery while being in the city center. The breakfast was very generous. No complaints

Super quiet and tranquil place, perfect for solo traveling. There was a gorgeous garden in the back, and the whole space was a dream to explore. Would definitely recommend.

Both the location and room are very satisfying! It’s easy to get from the train station and only few minutes walk to the center area, the building itself is historic and the garden is beautiful! The staff is very friendly and fast responding both online and in person! This is my favorite hotel in Belgium!

Great location and the room was really nice! The grounds were peaceful and it was the perfect place to catch my breath during my stay while still being close to not miss out on things. Also, I usually don't bother looking at the breakfast rooms at hotels, but this one was amazing!! Set up beautifully with so many really tasty options (and vegan ones too!) Loved it! Everything was great! I arrived after hours and it was a large area, but the check in instructions helped me find my room easily.

Location, quiet, breakfast

The room and bathroom were very clean. The view to the garten with the pond is amazing. Breakfast was very complete, with many vegetarian options. They serve homemade confitures and dry cakes from the monastery.

I loved the tranquility in the garden and access to the chapel for personal prayer.

Clean and comfortable Room! Excellent Breakfast with many choices! Location was excellent, easy walk to old town and castle. And with Tram Stop near by. Nothing!

I can’t say enough good things about this place. Within walking distance of most things to see. Great breakfast-lots of protein options, not just pastries. Large bathroom-especially for Europe! Push button blackout curtains. And such a peaceful garden area. It’s like an oasis in the city. I can’t think of anything.

I heard footsteps above my room all night and an alarm going off continuously in the morning.

Everything, it's really quiet nothing

Great location, steps away from centre and beautiful sights. Lovely, very complete breakfast! Unique setting in a monastery, pretty view of the grounds. I liked the locker system for storing your bags and the lobby space to wait with bathroom and heating until the room was ready. The heating in the rooms did not work, which is very important in winter. I did not freeze, but spent any time in the room under the comforter. Staff was receptive and responsive via messaging, but the problem persisted. Maybe think about switching to energy efficient electric radiators instead of the mini-splits. Also, I think it's a little ridiculous to leave the reception desk unmanned because of the holidays. This is not very welcoming and sort-of defeats the purpose of being a hotel.

The location is not far from tourist attraction. The host hotel itself is amazing. The room is comfy. The bathroom is clean and tidy. Even the decoration will remind you of nuns, a little bit too scary for me, but that’s fine. The breakfast is great variety of choice and fulfill my nutritional needs. Nun pictures — decoration. But that’s fine because it’s only in the hallway.
