The Country Inn of Lancaster

The staff at the front desk were not helpful at all. First they double charged my card and I had to wait a couple of days for the correction. Then after we unloaded the luggage onto two carts we tried to get to our rooms from the lobby only to find that we were in the back building and had to enter it from another entrance. I had to assist my wife back into the van and drive her around to the back. They advertise the morning breakfast as " deluxe Continental breakfast". There was very little options and the coffee was empty both mornings we checked. So I wasn't able to sit on our little balcony and drink a coffee.We went out for breakfast both days. The pool was OK but there were no pool towels. We travel to Lancaster quite often and we won't be staying here again.

There are no refrigerators or microwaves in the room which is a little inconvenient. The complimentary breakfast is really sparse ans not that good. But the staff is nice and friendly.

Staff In The Evening Was Ok , The Shower Handle Was Hanging Off N We Had To Remove The Comforter Cause It Looked It Wasnt Wash In A Long Time, We Brought Our Own Sheets , The balcony was OK But The Chair I Didn’t Even Want To Sit On It , I Think They Should Have A Small Corner Table W Two Chair , Would I Stay Again No

Breakfast was a bit underwhelming

Everything at the hotel was great the pool was amazing the room was clean very comfortable very good home feeling they definitely need to upgrade their breakfast items to more variety with proteins and fruits and vegetables and the front desk lady with the glasses and septum ring nose was very rude and mean and should get a new job if she doesnt like serving people

I decided to get a super fast shower anyway while they waited on someone to fix the toilet. The shower didn't work either. The knob you pull up on to turn on shower vs bath tub pulled straight out of the faucet. We went down and demanded another room. Were handed the key to a second room, told to check it out, and if it was fine, bring the original room keys down. The new room was fine. We sent my teens down to return the original keys, and were told an adult had to come down. Went down again and we were told that the room they put us in now, was already checked into by somebody. there wasn't anybody there & the room was untouched. When we pointed that out they said "well they haven't actually checked in yet, it's already booked though". We refused to move again. The new room still wasn't perfect, the toilet still barely worked, all of the comp. soaps were completely empty, the blinds were broken, and the beds were extremely uncomfortable. The same crumbled popcorn stayed in the stairwell all weekend, huge cobwebs were visible hanging from the windows in the stairwells, the ice machine on the second floor is gone, and it's just basically a big dirty hole in the wall, the Jacuzzi had dirt floating all in it no matter the time of day... Do not recommend.

Room was clean and ready for us. Only negative thing I have to say is that our room seem very humid or damp, but it was cool. I was told by management that they’re in the process of replacing the heating and air-conditioning units in the room. Other than that everything was perfect clean well stocked and fun to be there.

I love the lil Amish Lancaster vibe of the hotel. Very clean and staff was helpful! The hotel is a older hotel but has been well kept for how old it is the pool and hot tub were nice breakfast was ok bagel, yogurt granola and cereal we had a good time would be back.

The room itself was clean but the beds were old and very uncomfortable. The staff did take care of the room mess up. The breakfast was a simple grab and go and there wasn’t much of a selection. The juices were thickened and not really drinkable… needed a spoon but I couldn’t stomach it. The location is great!!

I reserved a king bed room and was placed in a room for the handicapped. I don’t know how. The reservation didn’t say that in Expedia. The bathroom was large but the bed room was too cramped. So much so that so that the refrigerator sat on top of the television stand (which would be completely inaccessible to a handicapped person).

Room was damp and had a musty smell. No room service for our four day stay, we had to go the lobby for clean towels. The outside of the facility needs to be cleaned from piles of tree limbs and debris.

We had stayed there in the past and really liked it, so we were expecting similar stay. The room and facilities were clean but really run down. The mattresses were lumpy and not at all comfortable. The pool was so crowded with rowdy kids, that we couldn't even enjoy just sitting in the area. Glad the kids were having fun, but it was really getting rowdy, hitting each other with the noodles and yelling. Coffee was stale and lukewarm. Someone said they were making a new pot, but it was same. The staff were very attentive and helpful, no complaints with them. Breakfast was just cereal and bagels but there was fresh fruit, which made it nice. Coffee in the morning was hot, but still not good. Most likely will not return.

Everything was Great. We got there earlier than Check in Time and they got a room for us. I asked them if that room had a refrigerator and was told it didn't and I said that I needed one that had one as my husband has diabetes and I needed to keep his insulin cold. I was told that they would put one in the room for us and they did. The entire staff is very friendly.

Room was very quiet and clean.

We absolutely love this hotel and stay here often was disappointed that the hot tub wasn’t working

Its an older building so things are not like new at all. Pool area didn't feel clean. You get what you pay for. It's not bad if you just want to sleep and see other places.

Unfortunately the floor was always damp/wet. I’m not sure why. The breakfast was ok,

It was clean. Beds were comfortable.. They have a pool& hot tub, but we didn’t come prepared for it, next time we’ll be prepared because I would stay there again. It has parking. Also, a small. Breakfast enough to hold you off until whenever your next meal is. Plenty to do: go for a show, miniature golf, shopping & plenty of restaurants & fast food. Overall it was a wonderful stay!
