Hotel Chaplin

Room was warm and stuffy (we stayed in July). A fan would have been good as even opening the windows didn't help circulation.

Great building and great location! It was not very clean, duvet was very dirty and breakfast very basic!

Good breakfast. Easy to find from the highway. Walking distance to everything. Shabby chic is the best way to put. Needs a coat of paint and some updated furniture in the lobby. VERY slow elevator. The switch on the bedside lamp was broken. When I asked the lady in reception = owner? said ”just plug it in the socket and it’ll work!”

The building looks lovely. The room. Smelly and needs a thorough clean. Shower head was weird. Plants need watering. Breakfast was very basic.

Location and staff were very good. The quality of the room. Cleanliness was not very good, I found spider net on toilet door!!, no air condition. The lamp was for 1970!!. I took some images if you need for reference.

Kind staff, location. Bad smell of carpet , bad heating, bad sound isolation.

Not clean, not good cleaning service, low breakfast choice, not accepted cash, dirty beds.

Old furniture, heating was not active, no changes towels.

The location is good. Walking distance to the main square. The hotel is not clean at all. I had two spiders inside my bed. Also my friends’ rooms were dirty and had spider webs. I gave a feedback to the receptionist, she said she will check who was the cleaner that day but it doesnt seem like a one person issue. The hotel is dirty in general. It is very old, the carpets, furnitures, faucets etc. And it is not cozy old, it gives negatively old vibes. The breakfast is okay, it doesnt make you happy but still okay. They didnt even have butter though, they served margarine.

Good breakfast, good location. friendly and helpful staff. Very easy to deal with.

Nothing/Nichts The accomodation was outdated and dirty. The Family room we were supposed to stay was dirty: hair in the shower, the fridge was very disgusting and IT smelled bad. The Sofabed was very old. The pull-out part did not have a mattresse in top. My son hit his head very hard on the bed. The linen was clean but the bedding inside was very dirty. We ended up sleeping with 4 people in a Double bed. We left in the morning. We got a refund for the nights we did not stay but given the very bad accomodation I was expecting a full refund also for the night we stayed. But our last message was ignored.

Convenient and cheap. Easy access out of hours. Room looked like it was last refurbished in 1970, which I suppose has its charm. Bed was pretty uncomfortable, though.

Only the location. The property wasn’t clean and smelled very bad. Our bathroom in the room did not have soap. The toilet in the lobby did not have paper, only one towel used by everyone using the lobby. The hygiene was awful. Breakfast was included, however, it was as bad as it could be. One of the eggs i was about to eat was rotten. Pictures attached. It was not worth the cost…

Great location nearby the centre of Landskrona. To be recommended for a night when passing through Sweden. Relatively large room compared to other offerings in the neighborhood. Bathroom/washing facilities seem not to be recently updated but hygienic but given price/quality in line what could be expected. Friendly staff and good breakfast. A bit of a hassle storing the bike, getting it into a lift. But otherwise small nuisance, given that the bike could be stored.
