The lady on the night shift at the front desk was exceptional! Breakfast was good, very fresh with variety. Renovations were disruptive and loud, TV wasn’t connected yet as the cable cords had not arrived. Elevator was extremely dirty.

One foyer light and one bedside light, that’s it. But we understand that you are going through a remodeling so maybe you will be adding more lights? Noisy a/c which would not run “fan” only. “Off” or compressor kicking on and off all night. Fantastic bathroom with a large vanity with room for both him and her stuff. But why muted light? Makes it tricky shaving.

Great location just off the expressway. Convenient to food and shopping. Close to downtown, but in the suburbs. They had a nice breakfast, a pretty nice selection of food. Wi-Fi not working and no cable TV , roos had just been renovated, still lots of dust from work in process. Had to change rooms because the j trap fell off of the sink.

Staff very friendly. I know Michigan is a pot state but does it make it legal to smoke in a smoke free building? Had to smell it in the hallways with my grandkids.
-
Very nice staff. Rooms not all completed, had to move rooms a few times. But staff was accommodating.

It was great to see that the hotel is doing some updates, lately hotels have been going down hill.

Breakfast was great, room size and usability was great, with a door partitioning beds from desk and couch living space. It is newly redone. IT was SO newly redone, there was still some construction odor - paints, adhesives perhaps. Likely be fine within a month. When I registered I asked, if I decide to stay another day would they give me the same rate. The lady (owner family?) said yes. Next morning when I asked to stay another day a man (employee) said he was not authorized to give more than a 20% discount. I was adamant about the hotel keeping its commitments. Wasted 10 min of my time, and I was NOT happy with him; he argued that it would be not that much more, so I said then you shouldn't mind paying the difference for me. After his repeated assertions that he couldn't give me the same rate, he did. I DO hate this kind of service/ business. But I was otherwise very happy with the hotel, and also felt quite certain this employee was NOT going to prevail - and I was on my own clock. And the evening lady (owner?) was charming.

It was ok for a one night stay, no vending machines and only lobby floor ice. major renovations are going on. Staff was friendly and helpful, bedroom was extremely clean.

Very nice maintenance man named Andy. He fixed our tv connection

The staff was exceptional. The common areas were rather dirty during the remodel.

Always stay here when we come to visit! The staff is friendly, the rooms are clean, and the beds are so comfortable. Easy access to the highway. They even let us check in early after driving all night which was very much appreciated! Did not have any extra blankets for the sofa bed.

They were doing renovations at the property so there definitely was a strong paint odor. The rooms themself were clean and new but there were areas that still needed a lot of work. Mattresses were outside from the renovation. For it not being completed I wish they would have discounted the price bc it definitely wasn’t worth the cost.
