Motel 6 Las Cruces, NM - Telshor

When I arrived, the front desk employee was in a heated argument with another customer who had also booked through Expedia. He was loudly insisting that the customer’s Expedia reservation did not exist. Before I could even attempt to check in, it was obvious this property was in complete disarray. The situation escalated to the point that police were called. This was not a case of me checking in, disliking the room, and asking for a refund. I never had a fair opportunity to check in at all. The property itself also appeared to be in unacceptable condition, with broken glass, cracked tile, cockroaches, and an overall atmosphere that felt dirty and unsafe. I contacted Expedia immediately because I did not feel comfortable staying there. Despite the circumstances, I was told the cancellation policy would still apply. This was not a matter of preference or inconvenience. It was a serious concern about safety, sanitation, and the ability to reasonably check in to the property. I left without staying and would strongly recommend booking elsewhere.

The staff at the front desk were very nice and helpful. We had a problem with the wi-fi. Went out for a while. Room was clean and a/c worked great!!!

This was the worst property I have ever seen. The pictures used online are deceptive, the rooms were not clean and the maintenance of the building is neglected. I did not feel safe at all. This property would not refund my money, even when I said I did not feel safe. They told Expedia that I agreed to the property, that is not true. However, being kind in the moment and not becoming mean/ugly is not agreeing. I was kind to the desk person, with telling them I did not feel safe. I left immediately after checking in because the bed was filthy. I found a new hotel and contacted Expedia. Neither the hotel or Expedia were very helpful. I will never stay at a motel 6 property again. Do not stay here especially as a single woman or with children.

On the outside looks good great access to freeway, but rooms older and not very clean. It looked as if a motel that you rent for the week or month not a vacation stay.

Room was in good condition. Blow dryer did not work. Water did not drain quickly when taking a bath. This motel could use some detailed cleaning and if carpet was replaced this would improve the impression individual get when walking in. Attention was also needed in the pool area.

Yes, the fire alarm went off in the early morning while I was sleeping.

Close to highway. I had to park far away from my room.

The staff was not professional at all. The room was dirty. The Motel environment felt unsafe.

My daughter and I are traveling across the country and stayed here because it was affordable and accepted 2 dogs. I didn’t expect much but the staff were very friendly and our room was super clean and the beds were very comfortable. We like a very cold A/C and the A/C worked excellent. I also appreciated that the rooms were accessible from inside the building.

The rooms have been renovated since we were here last. The rooms are large and spacious. I love the addition of the mini fridge and microwave. I have never had a bad experience here The hair dryer was broken, but I will inform the front desk. I always bring my own just for occasions like this.
