Castle by the Sea

This was my third stay there and it’s always clean , updated and peaceful. It’s in a great location, one block to the beach, two blocks to downtown. It’s a small renovated motel and it’s just really pleasant. This time I was with my daughter so I got a room with a kitchen and that made it even better. I liked everything.

My room was exceptionally clean and comfortable. I needed a walk-in shower, and this one was very nice. The outdoor pool was sparkling clean. Handicap access was non-existant getting to the office.

Perfectly located 3 mins from beach. Spotless clean. Free carpark. Efficiency well stocked with utensils. Beach chairs and umberellas to take. Renee was so pleasant and helpful. Would highly recommend. Stayed 3 nights at start of our holiday heading down the Keys and was so good we returned for our last 3 nights.

Truly everything. Great location, 3 minute walk from the water. The pool was clean and warm, towels were provided, complimentary beach supplies as well. The lady at the front was incredibly accommodating, my partner and I had a wonderful time. 10/10 would want to come back. Honestly nothing. The heat/humidity worried us a bit, but the AC in the room was incredible.

The room was clean and proximity to the beach and restaurants were a plus. Check in worked, but was strange. We got there around 10PM, and there was a sign on the door saying that the office closed at 6PM. I called the numbers on the door. No one answered. I checked my emails, and sure enough, there was an email on behalf of the motel giving me instructions on how to get into the room after hours. I guess, not a huge headache, just weird. I guess when you are a small business, you have to improvise to make ends meet. Beds were comfortable enough, but we should have read the description better, they were double beds, not queens, so my gargantuan 16 year old son, had to sleep on the same double bed as his older sister. It worked, but it was a bit stressful for a few minutes. Pool was nice and well kept. Only weird thing in the room was the bathroom door was upside down. Worked fine, but we had a good laugh about it.
