The place was clean. The staff was helpful and friendly. We had a great view of the river. We loved the chocolate chip walnut cookies too!

Free parking across the street. Hotel very clean. Our room very clean. Quiet! On the water(& apparently when booking thru 3rd party we were told we couldn’t have room with view of the river!)The front desk staff were friendly-you get a warmed cookie when checking in. Things that were negative: town doesn’t have much to do (it’s kinda like a ghost town..lots of buildings but not many businesses in them-just to understand how quiet it is as the hotel is at the end of the main strip on the water), the hotel restaurant has certain hours and if you get there late (we arrived Sunday evening) you can’t eat b/c they are closed. There is a restaurant on the water but again closes “early”.

I’m sorry, but the buffet breakfast a was horrible. All the food was cold, there wasn’t a waffle maker, the saysages were dry (and cold). Some people came into the buffet to look at it first and left without buying. The staff was very nice though. Our dinner had similar problems. Cold fettuccine alfredo.

The only thing I disliked was my 17 year old black son was approached by police stating that someone called and said he was walking around.. 🤔🤔

It was quiet, spacious, and a great location. Who checked me in wasn’t the friendliest, and the air conditioner wasn’t working too well.

The view was beautiful! We went here for a car show so we had a truck and trailer and they dont have parking for that.

need a clock in the room as hard to tell what time it is sleeping had to us cell phone and without glasses on bad to read

No microwaves and no pool

First time stay at this Hilton hotel. Location was gorgeous, rooms were clean and updated... and very close to Fairgrounds which was our destination. Warm cookies offered were tasty. However, for 2 women traveling alone parking across the street in a public parking multi level garage was less than desirable. When we departed in the 6am dark hour both of us walked together to the car, then drove to the check out area, then I went up to the room and brought down all our stuff solo while my friend stayed with the car. The take your luggage either up stairs or elevator from street level to registration area was also a pain when no luggage dollies were available---so I had to repeat this process twice! Another point: I'm so used to Hilton Hampton Inns with 24/7 coffee in the lobby as well as a micro for general usage. Here, there was none. (The breakfast restaurant Starbucks area wasn't even open to purchase coffee prior to our departure before 6am.) Also a few other things...no microwave or fridge in room (available for $10 rental). TV channels very limited with their service. So, we rented a room microwave for $10 (we bring our dinners), brought a small keurig for coffee, lugged in a Yeti for a fridge for creamer and we survived. Its truly the little things that make the difference!

This is not a very good hotel to navigate if you have any mobility issues. When you arrive there’s room for four to five cars to park to unload but once inside you either have to walk up a full set of stairs or take an elevator to the next floor for check in. This is a huge event space hotel. That said they only have 2 carts to help you with your luggage. So if you’re amazing lucky you can grab a cart and take the elevator down to the first level to unload your car. Parking is free and located across the street but still much farther away than your average hotel. Than you have to take your cart up the elevator back to the second floor once again and walk down the hall to the next set of elevators that will take you to your floor. On a separate note I am a Hilton honors member but in this case the members price was $50 higher than hotels.com so we went with them. We researvered a king but when we got to the room it was 2 queens. Surprise. Call down to check in but they would not change our room but said a manager will be by to speak to us. No manager ever showed up. This is the only hotel in town so I guess they feel that customer satisfaction doesn’t apply. Our check in lady was amazing. The only bright spot.

Parking is across the street in a public garage... breakfast doesn't start until 7...room was clean nice but the mattress was completely broken down. We didn't sleep at all. Tv was out. I expected better for the price.
