La Mancelle - Chambre d'hôtes

Centrally located. Great location for the Le Mans Parade, Cathedral & Old Town. The local train took us to the track for 1.50E. The community was amazing and Silvi & Javier are wonderful people Private and great walking to everything you could want that’s Le Mans. We felt like we were in Peter Pan. The accommodations were from a story book.

Sylvie and Xavier were amazing hosts and the location was perfect - a short walk into the old town. The facilities were excellent as was the breakfast. Our stay could not have been better!

This accommodation is on the top floor of a beautiful old town house on a quiet street within 5 minutes of the medieval old town of Le Mans. The suite is spacious with a separate lounge, the bed was very comfortable, there's a fabulous bathroom and there is interesting artwork, antiques and curios throughout the house. Our hosts were warm, knowledgable about the area and very helpful. Breakfast was delicious with juice, coffee, pastries and homemade preserves and jams. We stayed for 2 nights and it was very comfortable. Good for a single person or couple.

This was an exceptionallly welcoming place to stay with a charming and friendly hostess. We were centrally located and were very comfortable.

My host Sylvie was great. We had a lovely conversation and she made me feel very welcome. The breakfast was homemade jams, yoghurt, cake.. delightful. The mini apartment I had was so nice, just 1 night wasn’t enough to fully enjoy it. Location was easy using Uber and quiet. You really have to go to experience the fun of staying in such a special home.

Sylvie is a fabulous host, very welcoming and informative about the area. Lovely bedroom suite, very clean and lovingly decorated. Our car was parked in very safe garage close by. Highly recommend. Nothing

The host was friendly & welcoming , good atmosphere in this house ! It’s good start for our journey to the Loire Valley … Everything was good but we didn’t have time to enjoy the backyard garden …

The hostess Sylvie and her husband were lovely people, very friendly. They made sure we were comfortable and Sylvie made a beautiful breakfast with lots of homemade foods, even fresh eggs from her little girls (chickens) from her cottage. Quite tasty! She always had fresh bread, apple sauce and fresh honey from her neighbors' hives. She recommended nice restaurants and interesting places to visit in LeMans. The room was very comfy with electric shudders so the room was very dark, good to sleep a little later if you wanted. We had the whole top floor for ourselves. Just one little pet cow would be the best!

A warm welcome from the host (Sylvie) and overview of the spacious accommodation including bedroom, separate lounge area and bathroom. The breakfast included home made preserves and tasty treats which were a wonderful start to the day. An excellent location for exploring Le Mans old city with expert advice from our host. Nothing not to dislike

A really delightful b&b. Very clean and spacious with quirky decor. Sylvie and Xavier were the perfect hosts. Sylvie speaks excellent English and was very patient with our poor French. Breakfast was delicious! Would love to have stayed longer. Nothing.

Sylvie is a lovely host who gives perfect info of everything that is available on the very cosy appartment. Very nice bed and private shower, private reading-room. Good typical French breakfast with homemade yohurt and marmelades. Good tips to go for dinner. Free bottle of water and coffee making facilities. -

Everything was just great!

Sylvie is a truly outstanding host. She and her husband could not be more welcoming, more lovely or more interesting. The rooms were beautifully decorated, the house itself is a gem. I could have looked around her quirky and arty decor for hours. The location is also very handy, and we walked into town, given good advice by our hostess. Breakfast was also delicious and home made jams etc were so welcome that I bought five jars to take home with me!
