Résidence Hoche

- Best overall cost benefit in region. - Great staff. - Near Metro. - Region with much cheaper prices for everything. - Last minute availability. - A real life view of Paris. - Renewed bathroom - No elevators. - No fridge in the room - No Air-con (in summer makes diff) -> but with small Fan that works well. - Far from Paris city center (but very easy with Metro/train). - Low middle class-poor area of Paris. Not a real safety problem, but "strange" compared to the classical tourists neighborhoods -> Poor/immigrants area. (thought it seems improving and fast - it is becoming middle class neighborhood pretty fast.

We had a very pleasant stay at Residence Hoche. The room was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for our stay in Paris. The staff were very kind, welcoming, and always ready to help with anything we needed. The accommodation offers really good value for money, especially for Paris. The neighborhood may not be the most beautiful area in the city, but we felt fine during our stay and the location was convenient for getting around. Overall, a great experience and we would stay here again.

Personally as long as the bed and hot shower are fine I’m happy with anything else. And bother are super No elevator, but the staff were super friendly and helped us.

the staff are genuinely very good, polite, helpful, and welcoming, which does make a difference during my stay to be honest The internet connection is very poor and unreliable, which can be a serious inconvenience, especially if you need to work or plan your days online. The lack of an elevator makes moving luggage or strollers extremely difficult, particularly after a long day out. Location is another major drawback. Despite being marketed as a Paris hotel, it is actually located in Pantin, which is quite far from the city center. While it is close to Hoche metro station, reaching the heart of Paris requires long metro rides, adding a lot of daily travel time and fatigue.

Good location, near metro

The location was very good, just next to a metro station, which I took to move around Paris very easily. Friendly staff. The neighborhood is a bit weird and had to pay some attention, specially when arriving at the metro station. Stairs to the room makes lots of noise, which might disturb other guests when you are leaving early morning (too narrow too) and the bathroom is too small (but renewed, making the experience better). The bed for me was too soft (could change to something medium+ of density).

The shower door only folds in, making it impossible for a larger person to get into the shower, even a challenge for a medium-sized person. Lots of street noise if need to open windows.

very clean the time we step in, spacious too. very close to metro Hoche station line 5 the only thing which is everywhere in paris, you need to bring luggage up by yourself through stairs. even the receptionist willing to help but we refuse to do so. still okay for me with the room we had

The location was good to the Philarmonie, the place is clean and safe. Recomend the restaurant Karokant, few minutes walk for dinner or for a drink. The walls have no soundproof - literally you hear your neighbours, whether they talk, take a shower or leave/come

The reception staff is helpful. The corridors lack comfort. Dark. Tight. It's quite unsettling! The location is scary!
