our host Simone was very helpful on giving suggestions for diner and location. Her breakfast were plentiful with fresh baking goods, fruits, great coffee. The room and bathroom were very clean and the building was quiet.

The room was beautiful: high ceilings, spacious, and a lovely balcony with a view of the old castle. The place felt antique (you enter the building through a castle door) without being outdated. The breakfast is a real highlight: it's served in your room, both the sweet (pastry) and savory (ham and cheese sandwich) are tasty, and comes with coffee-to-order, fresh fruit, yogurt, toast, cookies, etc. Would stay here again just for the breakfast! It was great, if I had to nitpick the host does not speak amazing English, but it's enough to welcome you. For things like coordinating entry it can be a very mild challenge.

Great location, fantastic room with high ceiling housed in a spectacular building Rather loud Street sounds on a Saturday night due to the location but other than that, great place to stay and explore the historic centre of Lecce which is 5 minutes away walking.

The location of the B&B (situated, like many such in the south of Italy, in an apartment building), was superb for exploring the historical city center of Lecce. It was about a 10 minute walk from the center, and a 15 minute walk from the main train station. The airy room was kept spotlessly clean by the kind and attentive woman who was our contact from start to finish, and it was quiet at night despite its central location. Communication with the B&B was answered promptly, even when the water went out in our unit! They solved the problem within the hour. Just something to keep in mind: Breakfast IS offered on the premises, and it is a choice between what Italians call "toast" (usually, a hot, crustless sandwich with fillings such as ham and cheese) or a sweet option (a croissant or a local pastry--the specialty of the region), and if desired, juice, granola, yogurt and your choice of coffee--all of which is served cheerfully in your room. There is no specific dining room in the apartment (as there would be at a hotel)--just so travelers know. Also, unless you tell the kind woman who makes and brings you your breakfast that you would like to try a different option the next morning, you will receive the same selections daily--just another thing to keep in mind! My friend and I were in Lecce at the very end of November, and the cost per night for what we received was excellent. We booked the room because it had one main, queen-sized bed and a pull-out sofa bed, but we did not realize that unless we specified that we wished to use both they were not both immediately "available." What this means is that the sofa bed was not made up and cost an additional 15 Euros per night if we wanted to use it. Not a significant cost, but something that we did not realize we had to specify. (My apologies to the B&B if this detail was noted in the listing, and we missed it!)

Very large and spacious room and bathroom. Access to shared kitchen. Choice of breakfast offerings. There is an elevator although it took a while and phone calls to locate the correct one of three. Very friendly hosts. Perfect location to walk to the old city. Highly recommend. Very small shower.
